I sat right to the side of it when it blew. Freeze plug blew out of the motor at the very least

Those 6030s tended to do that in the field too!

If you ever drove one in the field they were pretty disappointing

@@RJ1999x hi and thank you for your reply. John Deere products of today certainly leave a lot to be desired, particularly when they're pushing that right to repair nonsense. If I'm spending 3/4 of a million dollars on a piece of kit, I own it, not Deere & Co. It's like one foot inside a camp, one outside of it. I do understand why they want to do it of course. With the high technology that they employ, they have to train their technicians to be able to fix problems, as they're seen as another overhead that has to be paid for, just like dealerships. But my personal arguement would be, why should that be my problem ! Regarding the 6030 tractor era, I was of the impression that Deere & Co products of the 60s and 70s was pretty much bullet proof, but better informed folks like yourself have said that's not the case, which did surprise me admittedly. Millenial Farmer seems to think they're the bees knees.

@@jamesbarbour8400 Pretty sure he's being compensated by Moline , so of course he will cheerlead for them. Honestly I don't think they ever had a product that was as great as they claimed
