Much better outcome than I expected. Shows how important those screens are. I always wonder how that much junk can get in places like that. Thanks for working on it!

You bet man, I still need to get the 3 point back on, but it will be ready by next week. Yeah, I wonder what that crap started as, I mean the junk coming out of the transmission. Like what exactly is it. I'll see you guys next week. Thanks for watching as always and lending me your big-tire-ed tractor😂

Never would have guessed it would be that simple. I'm guessing at this point that those pumps obviously have a lot of output pressure, but maybe not as much pickup force. That clogged screen plus all the trash in there was enough to keep fluid from being picked up entirely. I thnk changing the fluid again after a few hours of use would probably go a long way too.

Yep, I wouldn't wait very long at all before the next fluid change and it should be pretty solid after that, pending how much crud comes out next time. I probably used a 1/2 gallon or more of additional fluid to flush much of what we saw there, but there's no doubt in my mind that some of that is still in there. In fact, the steering was initially very easy and got a little harder to move after awhile, so I'm wondering if some of the junk worked itself up to the steering lines and/or pump. Hopefully Timothy will get it taken care of. The filter and fluid are a bit pricey coming in at $100, but that's a small price to pay for a well operating tractor. Thanks for watching Luke. And I'm happy he got that hydraulic kit for it as well...on it's way to being a real tractor.

Make a mini-scraper to scrape out most of the lumps of ???? that you can see. It'll help in the cleanup ?

That's a good plan, I'll have to try that on the next one, as this has been through two more owners since. I guy I bought it for, like went and retreived it for, had to do a few more clean outs and he got it working good and has since sold it I believe. Thanks for watching.

Drain the fluid through the "drain" plug at the end of the screen housing b4 draining the side plug thata way you can drain into a 5 gallon pail, much less of a mess.

If I should happen upon another 755 Mark, I will take your advice, always looking to steal other people's methods when they are better than mine👍👍. Thanks for watching.

You just saved me about $800.00, by not needing to have my 755 hauled to the Deere dealership, 42 miles away. (You failed to add that it takes a heat gun, a big pipe wrench, and small hands to get that hydraulic oil filter off.)

101, that is what this channel is all about, saving money on our John Deere tractors and I have to leave some of that info out, otherwise if I complain too much, you might take it to the dealer. Of course, things like that are always case by case. I'm tearing into a 455 AWS steering housing right now and getting the bearings out of that thing is a job of self-hatred. They were shot but the expense of doing the job, about $60, level of difficulty, higher than $60. I am happy it worked out. Often times and many guys before me say changing the fluid makes a huge difference. On this one, Timothy had to change it several more times once in his possession, but still much cheaper than the dealer. Thanks for watching.

Far too many KZbin channels featuring mechanical things being fixed by people who aren’t mechanically minded.

HAHA, I can't argue with you, I have often said my channel could be called "don't do this at home" , at least sometimes. What did you think was wrong with this video, just curious. Either way, thanks for watching.
