Looking good! Most of the farmers around us have sold all of their Hay for the year. It was so dry most people only got 2 cuttings. Luckily we have enough to get is through till spring.bGreat work keep it up!!

Glad to hear you say you have enough to keep you. hay gets expensive when you need to buy to feed your cattle.

Luis..... How much time between cuttings? I was watching a Video about Tifton85 in Florida. They recommend 4 weeks but never longer than 6........ I noticed the bottom of the plants had started to wilt and dry out.......... Still.. that is some real nice looking hay...... You Northern viewers if you are watching, Tifton 85; Nice long leaves, no straw like stems, You don't have to beat the crap out of it to get it to moisture level to bale Never needs reseeding, A more economical forage for Horses and Ruminants..... The mid-valve and button on joystick would allow you more control.... Got some tips using it........

Now, where you recon he got the notion from.......... Big E ? The one I prefer is Made by Murray Machinery in Great Britain,, but this brand belonged to a very good friend, that uses spears to vertical stack... disliked it It had the Global hitch, we added the pins for the J D 500 hitch..... Now it fits either!

I think it will work out. I will need to turn the spikes as they are one sided wedged and will cut the strings. Or turn them sideways or make them pointed.

It has it;s drawbacks,,,, Not my first choice but it was Closer than England..... My Choice is made by Murray Machinery in England,,,,, The Side Gates that grip the bale have better swing geometry, They open a full 180 degrees, but not outside the base,,,,, Plus The Murray will stack 2 bales,,,,,, and not disturb the bales on either side!
