Thanks so much for this video! My husband is away and I couldn’t even get the stupid mower started! My yard now looks like a sleepy toddler mowed it, but it’s mowed! Not all heroes wear capes.

Mowed the yard with this mower with a flat tire. I was a neighborhood oddity. but it's mowed. Shoved my cape into the back seat cover. Stuff of life.

This is the best explanation of how to use a riding lawnmower that I have seen. You guys made it easy to understand and went straight to the point. You have a new subscriber.

To save your mower deck belts i recommend throttling back before engaging the mower. Once the mower is running, lower the deck height and throttle up

I have that John Deere LA 115 thank u for showing me this I would like to know more about the maintenance of this mower I do appreciate it I am really not a mechanic but I can learn.👍

The price doesn't matter. With John Deere, you get longer lasting equipment that you can actually rely on to make your yard work much easier.

Thanks for sharing, I learned a couple times things, I didn't know about on that mower. Thanks again, Great video!

Thanks for posting! always wanted a deere and finally got one, and i am not disappointed, its not an LA115, mine just says 115Automatic, but the controls are same, i was trying to find out the reverse button it had an arrow pointing back, so thought it might have something to do with reverse but i didnt know for sure so didnt mess with it, tried reverse and it died thought might be just an issue with a used mower, i also didnt know about the break lock, but did figure out the seat auto kill when it died and i found the line going into the seat, knew it was a pressure sensor- that is cool, and also nice to know the cold and hot start settings, i had it backfire a couple times, maybe due to stopping and starting in wrong start setting?, should be much easier next time mowing, a little more complicated than my old murry but much safer for it, Cant wait to mow again, lol

Thank u for giving details on the basics. I am a riding mower newbie. Just got my first one 2 weeks ago and only used it once. I guess I did everything correctly because it didn't stall out on me but the whole time I wasn't sure that I had the throttle at the right speed. I didn't ask anyone because I was embarrassed that I didn't know such an simple concept but if u never had one before how r u supposed to know? The instruction book was a little unclear. So that's for explaining it.

Isn't there a release lever or something that allows you to manually push the tractor, like if you're in the garage and you just want to move it a few feet to get behind it!

I've had my LA115 for 7 years now and never had a problem with it untill 2 days ago when the pin came out of the oil slinger causing the slinger to knock a hole in the side casing of the motor.It's going to cost $600 for a new motor but I'll do that later this summer as I'm going to get a new D110.It's the same as the LA115 but they just changed the model numbers.That's the only difference.

He didn’t say anything about how to adjust the height of the blades, so therefore I’m assuming that what the lever above the left rear wheel does next to the seat?

I take delivery of a usde (74 hrs) la115 tomorrow, and this vid has helped a little. I would have liked to have heard about the gear-shift, and any tips related,but this lad totally avoided the subject...
@TheHandyguys8 жыл бұрын
+StructuredDRIVING No gear shifts on the LA115. Just press the pedal and go. You do have a "Throttle Level" but that should be at full when operating, (choke when starting). I suppose you could back off on the throttle but I find it easiest to control speed with the "gas pedal". The pedal just engages the drive pulley, it doesn't really give it gas.

uhhhh actually Craftsmans are made in the USA - half their models are made by Husqvarna, half are made by MTD and both of those manufacturers make their equipment in the USA.
