Yes It is a Hot Rod. 150 lbs compression, 2 cylinders and liquid cooled as well.

Well Bruce we have never seen a bolt fall out of a PTO so not sure if it was properly torqued when initially installed. The only one we have heard of falling over is a customer that we ordered a new PTO clutch for and was doing self repairs dropped it on his head when he was installing it. This actually caused enough damage to the skull to create a concussion and he was not able to get back to the repair for a few days. Naturally he said that he knew he should have had us do the work! Now that is a no brainer eh?

Well It was installed in 2007. On this one because of the radiator is there on the top of the engine I had no access to the top crank bolt. So I tightened it back up as close as a blade with my impact and added red locktite to hold the bolt. Thanks for the help It means a lot.

I like the Electric PTO’s from ExtremeOPE. They sell the Warner and Ogura types and feature better ball bearings and seals. That thing lasted quite a while Bruce, it doesn’t owe you anything lol!

A new customer had me out to replace all 3 of his belts, the tractor was a 12hp 38" deck, with the 2 belt transmission, luckily I did the belts for him, as the double stacked pulley on the engine, had lost its bolt, and washer, but the belt keeper held it in place, just came down a little but the key on the double stack was still in place enough to still engage the 2 belts, had to order them, but I have never seen a tractor loose it's pto clutch or double stacked pulley bolt and washer, I've had 3 this season so far.

This is my third. The rest had bad coils. My only question is it dd not click very loud before and after I cleaned it. As it fell off in the spinning condition should it be spinning before I test it again?? Something is holding the gap back

Bruce, I think your test battery is too small or shot.

@@BrucesShop make sure the inner and outer bearing is spinning freely, you should hear a loud click.... Or clank, if you can remove the bearing dust cap on both re grease em, and put the dust cap back on, but no it should have a strong clank wether it is spinning or not. Also grease the spacer, and or clean the rust off.

Set gap to 0.20 through the hole next to each adjuster, then it should pull in.

How's she goin'? I think there is no problem with the clutch other than the bolt fell out. It'll work better after you tended to it though. I like the mower deck with the dual blades on each spindle. That's why it cuts so nice eh!! Take 'er easy!!!

Yes i really like the deck for a maintained lawn. It isn't so good in the bush.

All this time you could have a new PTO clutch installed. I ts probably the original clutch that went bad. I would put some lock tight on the bolt threads.

I have seen a video on those electro===magnetic clutches sure it was taryl fixes all You should have a nice solid click / clunk when that has the power switched on it sounded weak on the video just my $00.02 worth of advice LOL

wrap a little cellophane tape on the end of the red nozzle extension, then force it into the push button on your can, it will stay on the push button better.

I think there are some that don't have adjustable air gap. What's the model number ? Warner or ogura?

This is a warner. I ended up setting it to 20th after being on a John Deere chat Thanks for helping.
