We pull our 40' 1990CCS drill with our new 8RX410. Our wheat follows our early soybeans. Great video Jason! Two thumbs up!!👍👍

What’s going on Big Tractor Power? One of the first to watch. My daughter said that’s not a tractor, that’s a John Deere. Love the videos and keep putting them out there.

I run a 7280R pulling a 1890 CCS drill, 36 foot. Planted 800 acres of wheat and 1200 acres of triticale following corn silage so far this fall. Another 600 acres to go. We also seed between 150-175 lbs. per acre depending on variety.

Great Vlog. very impressive that you can get a crop established in corn stalks so soon after harvest, thanks

Very nice, is this one of the the farms that replace their tractors every year
@chiefwahoo11964 жыл бұрын
To those farmers who have ran equipment like this, which do you prefer directly behind the tractor, cart or drill?
@dolphlyn4 жыл бұрын
I have a JD 1895 with the cart behind the tool bar. I like to see the tool bar but I think it pulls harder on the hills and in softer ground because the tractor isn't carrying any of the weight of the cart.

Will they do a second crop after the wheat is harvested?

Great video. How much does the seed cost? Is it bought by the pound, 100 pounds, 500 pounds, etc.?
@josephmccarry67004 жыл бұрын
I'm surprised anything grows through all the corn stubble. Seems like alot of trash on the ground. How long will it take to rot without turning it under?
@scruffy61514 жыл бұрын
A smaller setup can go places the big setup can't which makes it a valuable setup. As smaller fields and low ground fields where bigger would get stuck.

Mike. How do you match up different width seed drills?Also, what happens with tram lines?
@Beyonder83352 жыл бұрын
They likely have all of them in a work group in the monitor so that they can all track what’s done and what isn’t. As for tram lines, we don’t really do those here in the US at all so it doesn’t matter.

Yes

This particular farm i would say NO, because the last drill in the video is not capable of doing that.
