Pretty good video, although a bit limited. I always like to see a shot away from the tractor so as to see how the cab looks, the surrounding area, see the equipment showing, etc...

I agree! My "inside-the-cab-only" view gets old quick. This winter I plan to add external shots with a second camera. Thanks for the comment! Subscribe to stay tuned!

When you put the impeller kit on, I assume you removed the shute. Did you remove the cables, and then the three flanges that hold the shute down and in place, or did you you just remove the flanges and leave the cables attached? We're getting another dose of 6 to 8" of the heavy wet stuff. With the plastic impeller, my 47" clogs almost immediately, so the flapper mod is going to happen tonight. I have the hardware. Just haven't installed it yet. Thank you for your help on this!

Thanks for the view! I have a 90 degree flex chuck attachment, so I leave the chute on. You'll be able to tell what needs to be done with detaching the chute... it's not too bad. Important part is to get out there and git er done before the sludge starts falling!! Ha! Please let us know how well the impeller blade extensions do for you!!

@@rebel390 Thanks for your fast response! I think I've also got a 90 degree attachment. So you must have gone in through the front I am assuming? I will let you know. Have the tractor in the garage, so it should make it easier.

@James Pooley yes, I went in through the augers and took the scrapes and cuts. Can you video your install and post it? As I should have done!

@@rebel390 That would be good, but I really dont have a god way to record it.

@James Pooley then do like I do and record it poorly! Ha!

When you mention impeller kit, what exactly is it and where did you get it. I have the same blower on an x738 and its terrible in the heavy wet snow. Thanks!

... It's basically rubber mudflaps cut and screwed to close the gap between the impeller blades/fins and the drum so snow/slush have not way to go expect then out of the chute...

That's a lot of tractor for such a short driveway and small yard.

@allen dougherty I do lots of other properties, and have lung issues, so the heated cab is great for me. That's why I upgraded to the x700 series, to get the awesome Curtis cab. Plus I got really tired of belt drives.
