John Deere X748 Update: 7 It's almost finished

Tractor looks good. Love you’re videos. I have just got my hands on a x585. It has a plow, cab, mower, snow plow, bucket and rear weights. What would be your first mod/upgrade/implements? After a full service of course. Located in New England. E

Thank you! I would probably do the joystick mod to it. You'll be able to run the loader much more comfortably, along with all of the other attachments. At least for me it is more natural of a feeling to use my left hand for steering and right for controlling implements. There is a few write ups of doing the mod on Mytractorforum.com. Mine is on there and at least 2 others.

What is the thickness of the plexiglass on the front and where did you get the seal?

@@franksuszek7841 All from scratch outta my head. Had a local company bend up the steel and I cut out the inside for the lexan.

For the gasket of your light socket go to an auto parts store and get an automotive socket that has a gasket on it. Its a lot cheaper than JD for sure.
