A man of unlimited talent.. who gave flawless performances, singing sweet melodies to the beautiful picking of his guitar. The critics were idiots.. and this man filled seats into the 90s and will be forever loved for his gift of music. 💗💗 This man changed the world.. and left it a better place.

My husband and I were at this concert when we lived in England! I had recently had our second son who is now 44! This was the first time I had been out of the house and I was sooo happy and excited!! He never left the stage to have an intermission. I couldn’t play the radio for a week. I was so homesick for the US and my family left behind…I really miss that he’s no longer with us❤❤

I've always known who John was but I never really appreciated his music until my 1st daughter was born. Sometime around then I fell in love with John's music and message, his writing helped shaped my world view into something that I like to think is rational, centered, tolerant, and loving. While being true to my own beliefs and convictions, John's music had a profound impact on me and touched me somewhere deep in my spirit. After my oldest daughter God gave us a son and 2 more daughters, they're all old enough now to appreciate his music and it is one of my greatest joys to introduce them to the music of John Denver. Thanks John, thanks for everything.

I feel blessed to be born in the 70's when people had a positive view of the world and people were trying to make this world a better place and people weren't yelling, mean, and caustic things at someone who had a different viewpoint. I remember when believed in more than themselves. Then the fake news was UFOs, Bigfoot, and Roswell. People sang about nature wonder in the world and true love. Thank you John Denver! When people imagined 2020 they thought of flying cars. Who could have imagined 2020 would be the characterized most by people telling lies... spreading them .. making money for how well they can spread them. The future is definitely beyond imagination.

Got to spend an afternoon with him and Dick Kniss, his bass player who was previously with Peter, Paul and Mary, as they set up for a concert in a small college town in 1973. They practiced a few songs not yet released and my wife fortunately got to interview him for a local newspaper in the side dressing room…we kept the tape for 20 years or so and at some point we lost it…. You could hear his tea pot whistling in the background at the end. Still have the pix he autographed for us. I know and play many of his songs by heart on my guitar. Miss the guy.

Looking back through that wonder that is 'hindsight' ... truth is that you/we could not afford to miss 'it' ... those '$60's are/were a fair exchange. I will forever regret the '£30-40's (during the '80's and '90's) that I chose not to afford to see 'greats' more times than I did. Travelled to The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles in '12 from the far north of England to see, nay 'witness' Neil Diamond celebrate the 40th anniversary of the greatest live album of them all- 'HOT AUGUST NIGHT. Those monies are paid back ... the memories are eternal. Those are the best nights of our lives. Be well

I loved growing up to his music and how as I grew older his music spoke to my ethics and my love of nature and the wilderness. John too had his demons. Success and his meteoric rise brought its negatives and his divorce to his wife Annie. John learned humility and as it seemed he had managed to find success once again and the beautiful PBS video that featured Yellowstone, what an amazing song that speaks to just how much I miss him. He was a very human individual that now at my age of 61, what I'd give to hear his voice. My goodness he could write a song.

When I first heard it on the radio in my sister's car, I thought it was a perfect love song. It describes exactly how I felt about my husband then (we've been married only 4 years). After all these years it's still how I feel about him.

Such a quality person, John Denver was a true superstar and he is dearly missed, His music is timeless and his personality shines in each song he performs, Thanks for all you have given to the world John, Your music still inspires and puts smiles on faces, You were a deep thinking guy in a sometimes shallow world, So a handshake across to you across time & space, Love your music to this day and will continue to enjoy it until my last day here on earth, God bless you always my friend.
