John Early is so good in Search Party, I highly recommend. He makes his character's narcissism both horrifying and hilarious. Also, his one sketch in I Think You Should Leave is a work of art - makes me cry laughing every time.

I LOVE Search Party. It's so hard finding people who have also watched it. I showed a bunch and only a couple people in my family ended up watching it but they all loved it.

John's impression of Toni Collette's character in 6th Sense is something to behold.

I want to see an exact replica remake of Overboard but with Early in the Kurt Russell role and Cole Escola in the Goldie Hawn one. No modern revisions: camera angle for camera angle, line reading for line reading. Exactly the same, but those two playing the parts with complete earnestness. Thank you, baby Jesus.

John Early is amazing. He needs to be in more stuff and should get more credit for being so unique and wonderful. "Ask app not to track" is such a great bit from the special. Also a hilarious portion of the special is when they all perform a Britney Spears song.

The delivery on the "Ask app not to track" bit is something only John could make SO hilarious. I'm in tears every time and truly impressed with how he was able to make it make sense to Seth's audience here without spoiling the full magic of the special. 🤣🤣👏🏿

@@MaxineShaw_84 Yeah I'm surprised that came up and he attempted to contextualize it. But you're right he did it!

@@ScottLevick-n6p right? I kind of expected him to backbend matrix outta that with the usual "you gotta watch it too really get it", but I should expect the unexpected loll

The musical pieces in this special are incredible. I wish John taped a full music show and a full comedy show.

John Early might as well be known as John Endearing. He is so relateable even in his most extreme behavior. His motivations and faux pas within the characters he palys are not as Earth shattering as they are grounding, struck with realism and gravitas. I love him at his worst and find his perceptable nervousness twice as charming as annoying. He seems with Seth uneasy to play "himself," somehow shirking the attention. Understandable, relateable, as you fi d yourself under the microscope, but you're beautiful, John. Even magnified. You shine as semi-antagonistic characters and find a drive within them to be their champion that makes me love them and myself more. Hooray for the anti-hero if the anti-hero is also the hero's gay best friend. If I had a cake, I would give it to you, John. Every time.

That selection “ask app not to track” is just another loophole for the apps & tech companies to collect & sell our data. Why are we being asked to give permission to ask something? By selecting this option we’re not saying ‘no’ to tracking. We’re saying yes to asking. And does that give the app permission to say ‘no’? It’s all confusing and just another slimy way Apple & other companies get around collecting & selling our data.

I couldn't hang with his special. I couldn't hang with him being mean to his parents. I didn't understand it at all. I mean, he just didn't stop. He wasn't funny. He's a good actor, but he should not try stand up.
