"Why did we edit out the laugh?" is a great response to a joke bombing. I love this segment, particularly when they go off script and just riff with each other.

@@i.am.adrian Maybe they thought if they laughed they would be 'guilty' of being on the wrong side of the joke or something. I'm not a big fan of this segment but yes when they go off script, or at least appear to, it's way more enjoyable. They all have great chemistry, works better when they do improv.

Maybe it was just too realistic. Even that it could actually be the scenography of a modern production. I have seen a performance that mainly consisted of people hurrying in and out of two doors, + slamming doors of a fridge and some cupboards (and drawers) in a meaningful way. I have seen a set mainly consisting of stairs - some of them functioning like seesaws to add to the sense of unnecessary rush in that play. And I have seen a play where the only prop was a ladder of the kind you'd use when you were painting the ceiling. It totally wouldn't be a surprise if you went to the theatre to see the new famous play "With my Girlies in the Thirties", and there was just 7-15 closets in different styles that could realistically have been in someone's home in the 1930's.

If the Beyonce course doesn't tell you how much of a joke modern universities have become, I don't know what will. Half the courses that exist now are virtually content-free, requiring only agreement, not learning. The university gets the obscene fees, the student gets an easy degree. It's a win-win. Except the universities get fat and corrupt, the students learn nothing, and society starts to rot from within. It's a sad state.
