Beautiful song but one of the worlds best singers and entertainers. John is a legend here in Australia and is still performing in his seventies.

This is why this guy is known as the voice bloody amazing as always. Music back then was so much better then today me music. Another song to check out would be “burn for you” from this same concert, it pulls at the heart strings it was written for his wife.

Great reaction. His live performances always give me chills. Always check out live performances for him as they are just as good as the official videos and you get to see his amazing connection with his audiences and his range & skill & that grit & growl he gets in his voice. Also his awesome microphone skills both with the microphone & his 'twirling' ability with that stand🤣. My favourite song & version of a song is a cover of The Beatles 'Help' with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Didy, another pure love song by John Farnham, is "Burn For You", which he co-wrote. Also a softer, heavenly song is "Lifted Up By Angels", sung with Lisa Edwards, his backing singer, this time on front of stage with him. The opposite of these, in wild energy, is, "Playing To Win." And you must, must, must check out, "Help" with The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. It is a song that raised John up to where he should have been, regarding his talent - more on that later when you hopefully react to it. John shows a little of his fun side in "Lifted Up By Angels," but more so with Anthony Warlow, another fantastic Aussie singer, singing "Granada" in a concert named , "The Main Event", which also starred Olivia Newton-John. Please remember always to choose his LIVE performances. John is often in a lather of shining sweat in his concerts because he is a ball of energy and gives his all. He thoroughly enjoys performing and is so appreciative of his audience. This is why he is so well-loved in the land of Oz.

The guy he mentioned, Ross Wilson, is known mostly for his role as lead singer songwriter for a band called Daddy cool. Their most famous song is eagle rock and you may have heard it. They started out in the late 60's, but Ross was in a few other bands with crazy names that I can't remember. 😅 Anyway, John Farnham also started out in his teens in the 60's as well and much loved, not just for his talent, but his wacky sense of humour.

Another lovely review from you. John has performed concerts with Ray Charles, Tom Jones, gee I can’t remember them all lol. He’s sung Old McDonald had a farm to Opera with our Australian Phantom of the Opera Anthony Warlow (with comedy thrown in for fun lol) , Big Band music. He can get his whole audience doing a Mexican Wave. He really is, like Jimmy Barnes, a beautiful soul. Oh John did a Royal Gala Performance and met Princess Di and Prince Charles. Yes we are all a bit proud of John. And Jimmy does videos cooking and gardening with his beautiful wife some of Jimmy’s home videos of all his family singing are on KZbin the rest on Facebook. - no wonder we live both of them.
