John Fentiman

John is the oldest surviving c5/6 quadriplegic in wa Western Australia today. He's been in a wheelchair almost 60 years. During this time he's lived in the community. He obtained a university degree in social work. This film documents his early life and experiences in hospital, 1950s through to 1970s.

Well done Don Pugh for putting this together, and Congratulations to John Fentiman for your outlook on the past 50+ yrs living an independent life as a Quad in Western Australia. You've shown a lot of past memories as the wife of a fellow Quad, and of those we were all associated with. It was great to see it. Good luck and good health to you both.
