This whole situation saddens me, i abstained from voting in 2022 because i didn't feel comfortable voting for him with the stroke and Oz was such a nothingburger candidate that I wouldn't vote for him. This stroke makes him obviously a one term senator with no improvement where without it I am confident he could have made a real impact.

@@TheMightyZim Don't need to listen to it, a bit of education in psychology can also have some come to the same conclusion. Your ears are a muscle and the signals can help you recognize songs very easily. He can recognize the classics he was into, but training his ears to recognize or remember newer songs is probably more challenging. Like with his speech, there might be a signaling issues, but it doesn't impair his mental ability to think. Like his response to running against Oz was exactly how he sounded before the stroke, so there are times the signals are working and times it isn't. So, not mental incompetence in the slightest, with him using the ipad cause apparently his ability to write and the muscle memory related to that is still there. So seeing writing probably helps the signalling in his brain. At that point its literally unknown due to a lack of knowledge and ability to really do anything about it besides training the signals to work how they should be, which will take time or be a forever issue.

Yes this is very hard to watch, but the fact that this guy had the courage to get on the largest podcast in the world after suffering a stroke and being subject to intense scrutiny says a lot. Very admirable despite me personally disagreeing with his political views. We need more politicians to nut up and do open forum conversations like this.

I was also born on August 15th (1974) so this year was my 50th birthday. And for my 50th birthday I quit smoking I figured I smoked the first 50 years of my life I'm going to try to get to the next 50 without smoking!! I don't know if it's August 15th or if it's the fact that we are Leos, but congratulations Mr Fetterman, and thank you for being inspiration of showing you can do a lot much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much more than you think you are capable of!!!

I grew up near where he was mayor, never really agreed with his politics but never thought he was a terrible guy. That said, no way this "problem" doesn't affect his job. Debating and presenting your ideas, views and needs of your state in a clean, convincing way is like the biggest part of the job

Absolutely, KZbin seems to be reinforcing its “closed garden” approach, aiming to keep users engaged directly within its ecosystem. They’ve built an environment where encouraging users to explore ideas outside the platform often raises red flags. It’s a bit ironic since meaningful engagement often leads people to explore broader horizons, but they’re definitely prioritizing retention over curiosity. Navigating that balance of subtlety to keep curiosity alive while staying within their guidelines is becoming quite the art!

Just for your information, it was his atrial fibrillation (A-Fib) that caused his stroke. A-Fib leads to an irregular and often rapid heart rhythm, essentially making the heart quiver. This can result in blood pooling in the heart's upper chambers (the atria) because it isn't pumping blood effectively and consistently the blood sits there. When blood pools, it increases the risk of clot formation. If a clot forms and travels from the heart to the brain, it can block blood flow to a part of the brain, resulting in an ischemic stroke. That’s what happened to him.❤🙏🏼

From Chat GPT: Kamala Harris avoiding Joe Rogan’s podcast is a strategic choice. While Rogan might approach the conversation fairly, his audience is heavily pro-Trump and critical of her. Facing a hostile crowd would likely lead to a biased, mob-like reaction, creating career-damaging soundbites instead of a constructive exchange.
