I have watched this so many times and it is crushing. I met John in Toronto when I was trying to get on. I just got back from Atlanta and bought a Bowler Hat and wore it that night. John loved it and asked he could wear it while we were chilling in an after party after a concert he had in town. He had a cast on his foot cause he sprained it. He was so down to earth. I wish I would have kept in contact with this brother. He's a real one.

This was an important interview. I knew Forte was up next. He wrecked Staying Alive with Wyclef. These rappers need to drive home the fact that crime is a risk. For 20 years rappers glorified crime and very few talk about the dark side, the jail time, families destroyed, and deaths. We need to take accountability for our own actions. We already know how the system is set up now there's no excuse.

This clip could not have come at a better time when it's now that because the fool in office is boldly trying to tip the scales of justice in the favor of one of his hench men after he feels the sentence recommendation received was "excessively high" for a nonviolent crime/infraction. Forte got 14yrs fed time for being a participant in a nonviolent crime and blew through all of his appeals. Its only when we are are somehow useful to their own benefit do they give a damn (the woman who's case was presented by Kim Kardashian). Real criminal justice reform including revisiting and restructuring sentencing guidelines has to be a top issue for all of us
