Datura, as a plant was planted everywhere in NZ because of its odour... Every old school sewerage system had datura planted near it. Famous case in NZ was a truck driver who noticed some logs on the highway, he stopped to move them and found they were students pretending to be logs. In another case another student froze to death in a field talking to a post.

I was in the ER with tonsillitis so bad I couldn’t swallow the antibiotics they gave me- I had to have it drained with a giant needle. I remember the guy who got meth to try it and intended to record his experience to show addiction isn't real and he just wanted to see how bad it really was. He didn't upload another video for like 3 years but his second video was him crying and looking like a worn out junkie. He explained that when he took his first hit he had the best orgasm he had ever had and that was just the beginning of how amazing it felt and he spent years chasing that high. He was sobbing in the video about how his life is in ruins, he's homeless, and is struggling to stay sober. I tried 25-I when I was 18... It was the closest I've been to dying. NEVER EVER touch NBOMES. It's a tab of death. If I took two tabs, I wouldnt be alive today. I thought I was having a stroke, while having a heart attack, while being controlled by some other entity, while thinking "I accomplished NOTHING in my life, and now I'm going to die". The whole time I was tripping, the confusion was relentless. All I could say out loud to my friends and to myself was "WHAT AM I DOING" because the confusion was so deep. I could feel my body shutting down. The paranoia was unbearable. Even the side effects that I had after the trip and even MONTHS after the trip were so haunting. It made my ego voice (voice in my head) SO LOUD I couldnt focus on anything but the constant negative judgment I was hearing from my ego 24/7. It was like the tab had planted a super dark demon in my head. I started isolating because I couldnt hold solid conversations. I couldnt laugh for MONTHS AND MONTHS. Everything I ate made me want to puke. I used to write songs about the experience. Some of lyrics I wrote after the trip were this: "...I contemplated life, thought maybe I already died, and everything in front of my eyes was an illusion of what it'd be like if I was still alive Sometimes I still wonder if one day I'll wake from a coma. And wonder if mama is on the other side crying on dad's shoulders. They say 'you can only go up from rock bottom', but I was beneath the boulders..." It goes on... You cannot comprehend the experience, unless you've personally experienced it. one tab was enough to taste death and nearly be taken by death. Words cant describe the intensity and danger of 25-I. Do NOT play with 25-I. Thank you for bringing this awareness

feeling too good while high is 100% going to ruin your brain. You just won't notice until you're too deep and the damage is already done. Like he said your brain's reward system is the only reason why anyone does anything in life and the reason why people enjoy living. Messing with that will affect your quality of life. Weed is the most innocent, but anecdotally i've done too much during the pandemic and i definitely feel like im not enjoying things like i used to. Being high felt real good, but i've stopped almost completely minus a little when i need something to sleep. Reason is I noticed my ONLY thought everyday was to get high rather than ANYTHING else, noped out. This is essentially what mental addiction to drugs, social media or anything is. You'd rather just do xyz than anything else because its easier to get that reward system to fire. In the case of some drugs it actually alters the reward system which is even more dangerous since it can leave permanent damage to the system as described above and in the video.

As someone who had a violent heroin addict for 15 years, the minute I had the first IV rush, I knew I would never stop. Now, I had been using oxy and already had a physical addiction to that, but it was nothing compared to heroin. It took 9 rehabs, 12 detoxes, unknown cold turkey attempts and countless overdoses over those thirteen years for me to finally get sober in April 2019 at 32 years old. It didn’t matter what consequences I faced, I couldn’t stop. Even after a few months sober with no physical craving, I’d still go back. I still am not quite sure what was different this last time I got sober, but i had never made it more than a few months and now it’s 3 years. Honestly I had no veins left and a ridiculously hight tolerance as most of what I was doing was fent at that point, and figured I’d detox comfortably at a treatment center, get a little healthy, bring my tolerance down and go back to it after a good old 30 day stay, that was my plan. I don’t know how I’ve made it this far but I have no desire to go back to it. Long story short, don’t fucking do it. If you’re already hooked on pain pills, don’t advance. If your pill habit is too expensive and you’re thinking it will save you money, it only will for a very short time, you’ll be spending just as much.

While I only drank 1 cup of tea from it, my friend drank more than 3 cups, and later even made another cup against my advice. I didn't notice anything myself, but my friend had the most severe hallucinations and delusions after about 3 hours. He saw a giant running through his room, thrashing the air wildly. He even peed himself. His lips were blue, his eyes were yellow and in the middle 2 huge black plates as pupils. Watched him all night, neither of us were at trade school the next day. When he regained consciousness, his vision was blurred and he had a severe headache. He went to the doctor the next day and he almost went blind from it. Since then he has never been the same.... had several arson attacks in the dorm afterwards. Luckily it was just rubbish bins and nothing else happened. I found out it was him... But he got that under control... but not his psychological damage. He moved further away many years ago and I lost track of him.. Never Datura, never again

I’m quite disappointed in Adam playing this hard into the myth that synthetic use in inherently dangerous. It’s not. The problem, as with a lot of other drugs, is that dealers aren’t dosing it correctly, and end up giving 10x the normal dose to people. Or idiots who buy it, and don’t weigh out a normal dose. The reality is, the famous synthetic cannibanoids have about the same side effect profile as normal weed. And like normal weed, it can cause psychosis in people predisposed to it, when high doses are given. Really disappointed he played into the scare mongering media propaganda about “zombies” and “people never being the same”. Like duh, people usually aren’t the same after experiencing psychosis.

@@lubb213 The same can be said about literally any drug. The issue is that unless you're buying the research chemicals yourself and educated on the effects/how to dose them then it's a thin line to walk. He was talking about the countless amounts of products sold at headshops that aren't properly labelled as to what chemicals are used or how big the dose should be. Not to mention that there's very few studies on the long-term effects on most of them. Personally I say you should avoid them like the plague and stick with substances that have been properly studied. Advocating their use isn't going to encourage people to research them, but rather convince them that they're not as bad as they seem. I could with enough knowledge dose clean heroin in a manner that is enjoyable with very little negative side effects if respected properly. I won't however try to tell people that it is a misunderstood substance that can be harmless if approached carefully because that's an absolutely irresponsible thing for me to do. Some things should be avoided no matter what and if you decide to use them don't advocate for it as if everyone is going to treat the substance the same way as yourself.

PCP makes my list. Meth is up there too. I went down the heroine/pain killers road and you're very smart to stay away. I've given 20 years of my life to chasing the ghost and at 43 years old, I'm trying to figure out how to live life again. Drugs are definitely fun but they can cause you to miss out on all the important stuff that life has to offer like family, friends, career, life pursuits in general. You only get one shot at life, we don't get to go back and try again. All we can do is move forward, playing catch up for the time we've wasted.

Most intense, traumatizing psychosis I’ve ever experienced. On top of that, hallucinating putrid smells, the small visuals and auditory hallucinations I had were only related to the psychosis I was in. 10 years later and I still sometimes experience very sudden but only momentary flashbacks and derealization similar to the high, gone and forgotten in an instant. How it was the worst drug out there because you can't get away from it and physically it just destroys you. And I feel pretty much the same way. But somewhere along the lines about 2 years ago he tried it. Apparently the hype was real because he continued to use it. He got so bad off that, and I still don't have the full story, he pinned his wife down and beat her head into the floor cracking her skull. He was arrested and because of numerous other felonies that I won't get into he got 7 years in prison. The point of me writing this is that really, I just want my best friend back. I can identify with believing I’d never be happy again w/out a certain substance. For me, it was Dilaudid (Hydromorphone). The three years or so my mom was dying from bone cancer were, ironically, the most physically pleasurable & often serene times of my life up to now. My mom was a hardcore junkie, on Methadone for decades, & still using H, she’d shoot that, or her Dilaudid (to say nothing of her coke use & speedballing), so she had plenty of extra. She was also a hustler who often had 2 scripts of 120 8mg tabs in a month. I had a 24 mg a day habit on average. It was all I looked forward to on any given day. I remember telling my therapist that I didn’t think I’d “ever smile again” after it was gone. Second time I smoked synthetic weed. We got things through vape packages, which were basically carts, or called "Goofy Juice", or "Spice". First time I barely felt anything at all, so the second time i took a 4-5 second hit. The first mistake was that the pure thc juice was put in a caliburn device, which shoots around 15 watts, which is way too strong. The trip immediately hit in, to the point where I immediately started to lose consciousness. My body would constantly sink into the ground, and I was starting to get so paranoid. I was with my friends so they stood around me to help, but all I could do was walk in circles in paranoia, waiting for it to stop working. After about an hour and a half, it still wasn't kicking off, and I was in public so people started thinking I was fucked up drunk or something (it was 4pm), so I just took a cab home. Getting home, I immediately went to my room to sleep it off, but I kept feeling the sinking. Thinking it was never gonna wear off, I was thinking my last dying thoughts. I woke up the next morning at 6am, fucking tired and my head hurting like shit. Greening out off of synthetic weed is the worst. Do not smoke that shit guys.

My first trip was datura and I ate several seed pods worth, I was about 14 and had really only smoked weed and k2 up until then, had no idea what it was but I was shown the plant and told somewhat what it was and I did it, the seed pods stung my hands with acid or something as I carried them home. We busted them open and ate them and waited for onset....and waited, and waited and waited. Finally I feel asleep and woke up the next morning for school to find bugs crawling on my wall by my face, I would amack them and fall back asleep only to wake up smacking bugs, I then got up and went to school and the walk felt strange and I was kind of paranoid. I started to feel sick in first period so I asked to go to the nurse and and the cops were there because apparently I looked crazy or something and they had me lay down on a cot and relax and my buddies all came over to me and I was smoking a cigarette talking to them and accidentally dropped my cigarette under the cot and I bent down panicked because I didnt want the cops to know I was smoking so I was looking for the cigarette under the bed, just leaning over looking not like frantically searching. As I turned back around my friends were gone. That was when I realized I was on tripping and it was all in my head, the bugs, my friends, the cigarette, and who knows what else. This was almost 10 years ago so I only remember bits and pieces. What a start to an incredible journey, could have ended abruptly then and there, glad I made it through.

K2/Spice is no joke. When I was younger, I worked at Raising Canes, one of my coworkers there had an older brother who smoked K2 a few times and it triggered him into having Schizophrenia really bad. One of his main delusions was that his dad was like a psychopath murderer kidnapper so he tried to kill him many times to "save his family". One morning my coworker went to get some coffee, he saw someone had already made some so he went to have a sip when he noticed the laundry room door was open (it usually never is), a cap on the counter, and the coffee smelled weird. He put it down and went into the laundry room to find his brother putting away a concoction of chemicals (I think with like bleach and windex you can make ammonia or something) Turns out he was trying to poison his dads coffee, he has to live in a psychiatric institution for the rest of his life now and hes like 30.

worst thing about k2 is that it is sometimes mixed with normal weed to make it cheaper. People think they have normal thc weed, but they have k2. I live in berlin and I_m most scared of smth like that happening to me so I go to the villages if I need some weed.
@jessdavis26772 жыл бұрын
The first time I had heard about K2 was when I was staying in a psych ward (don't ask why, depression sucks) and was in a group meeting with the other patients where we all explained why we were there. One guy, this curly haired college age looking kid, wanted to try K2 and it made him feel like a ghost, which caused him to do something that freaked his parents out and got him interred. He never elaborated on what that was exactly, but that along with even more horror stories and actually researching the drug very quickly put K2 in my no-no list.

@@User-dc6sm I had that happen to me. Luckily I am using a vaporizer, I can't imagine how bad it would be if I had smoked it. Noticed it because of the awful effects that hit like a car speeding against a brick wall and wore off after like 30 minutes. You literally feel like you are going to die. It feels like the bad imitation of a very bad weed trip but 10 times worse. I used that shit two times (I only smoke once a week) then flushed it down the toilet. I thought I was safe, because it was a darknet order with good ratings. Pretty stupid I know, but back then I didn't know about this synthetics epidemic. Here in europe synthetic weed sold as "Haze" is very common sadly. Over 90% of weed sold as "Haze" is actually cheap shit sprayed with synthetics, often by the growers themselves (so often the dealer doesn't even know about it) purely to increase profit, because this shit is _highly_ addictive. There was recently a german dealer who blew the whistle and went to the media to spread this information. I am lucky I watched that vice documentary.

I have a legit need for it as I have the dreaded DDD but I also have an addictive personality. I'm proud to say I've been clean 3 years now and I no longer feel that need. @Jacob tudor yeah subs will actually make your DT sympoms worse if you still have the og drug in your system. Subs are a great way for a lot of people to get off opiates but in truth you're just trading one addiction for another. It's hard and its incredibly scary to think of going cold turkey. Even after my first 30 days I was still sick as a dog. My skin crawled, I vomited at least once or twice a day, I had no energy and I slept only a few hours each night. It was the worst hell I could have ever imagined. I didnt really start to feel like myself again until nearly 60 days in and even then i was dealing with depression from not getting that sweet, sweet dopamine release. My neurons werent firing as fast and that shit sucks. It Feels like you're a zombie basically and I know I'm prob not helping but eventually you can get back to normal. It takes more strength and will power than anything else I've ever done. Once you have beaten opiates though, what CANT YOU DO!? These days, everything feels easy bc I've already done the impossible. A few tips that helped me, read, watch movies, force yourself to interact with friends, music was huge for me as a musician. Find a daily routine and stick to that shit like your life depends on it. Force yourself to eat and drink lots of water. A poorly nourished body makes the DT's worse. My name is Donnie Ray on Facebook. Find me. Dm me if you need to talk. Talking about this shit makes it easier too. You're not alone brother.

“All you have to do if slam the needle into a vein.” I know Adam is just being a bit facetious, but I feel like this sort of misses something important, which is that it’s not always easy to find a vein, and that actually adds to the addictiveness of it and can make the needle in and of itself an addiction because you feel like you worked towards something. He talked about how once people switch to meth they never go back, and the same thing can be said about injecting. Once you start slamming, you’ll basically want to mainline every psychoactive substance you come across to see if that does something extra like it does with meth, heroin, coke, or whatever you shoot.

I remember going on Erowid probably 14 years ago and reading some of the stories about trying Datura. Some of them were absolutely terrifying. From people who have full-on panic attacks and think they're dying of a heart attack, to people who swore that there was someone with a gun breaking into their house to kill them. But the weirdest part was how so many totally unrelated stories had so many of the exact same elements to them. #1: Everyone described smoking imaginary cigarettes, even some people who didn't even smoke. Then suddenly the cig would be gone from your hand and you'd scramble to look for it, thinking you dropped it in your lap or something. But of course you didn't because the cig was just a hallucination. #2: Another element was just as you described, full-on conversations with people who aren't even there. Suddenly you hear a knock at the door, and hey look! Your old buddy that you haven't seen in years was in the neighborhood and stopped by to catch up! Y'all are sitting on the couch having a full conversation about how your buddy has been, and suddenly after you look away for a moment, you look back and they're just gone. Maybe they went to the bathroom, you think, or stepped outside for a smoke, but of course no one else is there. Lots of people also described blurry vision for days or even many weeks after their experience. Something I truly never, ever want to try.

There are safe ways to work with her, such as flying ointment. Thankfully when I first started working with stuff like that I wasn't reckless enough to have a bad experience, but unfortunately was reckless and disrespectful enough to misuse/abuse them too often and ended up doing permanent damage to my eyesight. Honestly though if you use them properly, and specifically don't use them just to get high, they can be phenomenal medicine and lucid dreaming/astral projection aid. All of the horror stories come from people that were too dumb, reckless, and disrespectful to make sure they knew what they were fucking with and how to avoid overdosing/poisoning themselves. Btw there are very deep mystical/spiritual/occult aspects to these plants. Many aspects of the experiences definitely aren't just drug induced. They will likely offer a medication that will surely but slowly improve and restore the chemical balance in your brain. This was the case for me. I'm in Prague now, though, and have been off my meds, so I'm pretty much back at square one. So maintain consistent application of the medicine. Put it next to your bed and keep a water bottle there.

Same, minus the trauma. I had it, but it never reached me. I think chemo as a toddler may have played a role. But I've spent most of my life doing what I was supposed to with no gratification. I had a stretch where I somehow reversed it, I think with diet and exercise (I "can't" follow plans. All on impulse) I recently got diagnosed with schizophrenia which also makes sense, but I also spend my time doing absolutely nothing. It drives me insane and turns me into a monster (I really, really want my life to end). My options are usually doing something that makes me angry because I don't want to do it or do nothing, which is another entire can of worms. Shrooms helped me once, but they also sent me spiraling into psychosis and got me thrown into a hospital. That was followed by antipsychotics (injection, wasnt my choice unless inwanted to stay locked up) which was followed by what I'm used to, severe "depression"

Yeah don't mess with Datura. I tried it around 2004. I knew some people who said it was like shrooms but didn't show up in a drug test. I was in the Navy, so I was like sign me up. I think I drank two cups of tea. Most of what I remember from that night is repeatedly thinking I had a cigarette that would always disappear when I went to light it. And I had the worst cottonmouth you can imagine. I came to in the morning delirious wandering the apartment complex shirtless since my "friend" had left me outside after failing to get me to drive him to work. I was seeing Navy Seals hiding in the trees. I kept trying to go to my car only to realize I didn't have my keys on me. Until I was pulled over on foot by the cops. Somehow they let me go, and I eventually was able to get into another friend's apartment and sleep off the effects. My eyesight was messed up for several days. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. Not a drug I could really see being done recreationally. Like the reason it's not illegal is because only an idiot would try it.

No, it wasn't enjoyable because at no point did I have the presence of mind to enjoy it. There's not the lucidity of a hallucinogenic trip. Just constant confusion and disorientation. And the cottonmouth, rapid heartbeat, discomfort. You have to note that the drug in Datura is the same as the one from Pulp Fiction that they stab into Uma Thurman's heart. That's a real thing. I've tried meth, but I have extremely chronic adhd, and honestly, it doesn't have any kind of 'amazing' feeling. I could definitely feel the pull of it being addictive, but not because it's good, just because it's addictive. Stopping for me was mostly about just going somewhere I didn't have a connection to buy it, and then I just didn't bother. However, I noticed much later that other people trying it around me, who did not have adhd, were chronically affected, manifesting anger, psychosis, and extreme paranoia - they were not themselves after a few weeks. Once I noticed this, meth terrified me and I never touch it. I consider myself very lucky.

This video unlocked a memory for me: In college I was in an altered state myself, but returned to a friends house to smoke a little after leaving the bars. While we were sitting smoking, one of his roommates had a friend over who took 2 tabs of what he thought was LSD, and turned out to be a 25* compound. This dude was totally in a state of psychosis, and somehow started believing I was god. Watched him throw up a few times and was clearly in a physically and mentally life threatening state, I spent 2 hours trying to convince this man to put shoes on and follow me despite the roommates downplaying it, to try to get him away from their apartment to call the man an ambulance and get him sedated and treated. Eventually the roommate kicked me out. I opened the school newspaper the next t morning, and he was found in an apartment complex 3 blocks up the road in a maintenance room, completely without clothes, and covered in his own blood. Still regret not being more aggressive that night.

Spice is a good one to stay away from. It nearly killed me at 16. I can actually recall some of the sounds and visuals I was seeing as I was fighting for my life. It put my poor mother and relatives under so much stress. I wish I would have listened to what some were telling me, and that it _isn't_ the same as real weed. I was living in Tokyo and decided to try drugs for the first time ever. I bought a tab of acid for the equivalent of $40, yes it was Nbome. I realized that about a year later when I tried real acid in Seattle, Portland and most recently in the Netherlands. The Nbome caused me to experience extreme hyperthermia, cardiovascular constriction, rage, claustrophobia which I've never had. I ended up punching a wall so hard that I dislocated my pinky and ring finger on my right hand. The bones were almost popped out of my skin. I just stood there looking at them as my French roommate freaked out and tried using his Japanese to get some Japanese girls to call an ambulance. I got emergency surgery and fixed my bones but will have a scar for life. At that time I had only tried alcohol, not even weed so I was a total noob. If you're going to experiment, do your research, buy from a trusted source and test the stuff.

In fact employers usually tell you not to speak in Japanese if you know it since the point is to get them speaking especially since many Japanese people are shy.
