If John reads even less than 1% of the comments people make about him on videos like this, it must be obvious to him that he has touched so many people in their personal lives in a deep and very profound way. I am in tears over this interview. Hearing an idol of yours, someone whose musical-emotional expression has resonated so deep, you even claim that it has saved your life, so humbled and aware of the real connection he has created among not only himself, but other people as well. What happened to the genre-term "IDM?" Other than it sounding a bit pretentious (Intelligent Dance Music), all those guys, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Autechre, Venetian Snares, etc used to be called IDM...and Trickfinger sounds fits right in with those guys. It is way more expansive and transcends Jungle, which is more like just an erratic version of Drum & Bass.

He gave it all up twice. Left the big money, big spotlight behind. I admire that greatly. Most couldn't walk away like that. Of course the first time was a lot of ignorance, immaturity and drugs that made that decision for him and thankfully he overcame those demons. The second time he returned they were bigger than ever. Again walked away on top. This time, his return was just as surprising as the last but he was at peace with his life and music now. When he returned 23 years ago he was still coming out of his drug issues. Now the 3rd time he has grown and matured even more. Is able to look back, reflect on what he created and can love and connect to it even more. So excited to see what they do on this next album,. GO AWAY VIRUS!
