Enjoyed the layout tour immensely! Always get a piece of inspiration from what other modelers are doing for my own projects.

That meant to say, Ken, you never fail to impress us. Also love the little scenes of the train going around the tree between segments. What a nice feature in this video

7:40 Why does everyone mispronounce Reading Railroad, how to pronounce Reading is "Red-ing" not that hard. I'm sorry to say but that Am-Trak Acela 2 set are old, to understand what I mean you need to know where the Real-Life units are right now, and I'll tell you. Acela 2 train sets were ordered in 2012 and delivered to Philadelphia the summer of 2016 and ran for a total of 2 weeks before they were flagged and sit to this day in Philly Yard collecting dust because the Philly tracks are so old and in poor condition that they can't operate there so called Acela trains so they have been sitting 9 years in the Yard and will most likely be decommissioned by the time all the tracks are safe and cleaned up for Mainline running. It's really sad when you can go on Google Earth satellite view and see them sitting in the yard.

Hey it’s pronounced Red-ing not, reading like your reading a book Ken. If you’re a train guy you should know that!

Layout mentioned starts at 15:22 last 10 minutes is just more bachmann ads. These videos make me cringe every time. no length of video is going to make you a BiG tImE ViDeO PrOdUcEr PrO MaN. News style microphone? dude wishes it was the 80s and he ran a tv station. This is youtube and these videos and their insanely long length are universally reviled by everybody.

Agree 100%. The audio quality is embarrassing. Mini, clip on battery powered mics are $100 for 2.

Regardless, when MRH goes to train shows, everyone wants to meet Ken Patterson. When we talk to anyone who is new to the hobby who comes by our booth and ask them how they found out about us, they tell us, "Ken Patterson's What's Neat" ... even David Popp of Model Railroader told us after being on Ken's show people come up to him and tell him, "Hey, saw you on What's Neat ..." -- more than they tell him they saw him anywhere else. Ken may not be the slickest video producer on the planet, but he is a tireless worker and meets deadlines consistently. If you want to complain, then show us your video show that YOU produce so we can compare. Or make us a proposal for a show you can do that's better.

@@modelrrhobbyist2045 I just want the audio fixed. Use some mics like every other KZbin channel has. Instead of passing that thing back and forth.
