I know it get said often, but Dave is crushing it on the interview/conversation. Keeps the flow going, asks great questions, asks follow up questions. Makes for very interesting listen every time. Even for guests I don’t know. Also impressed by the consistent lack of bathroom breaks.

Was just about to comment this but you said it all. Dave is really becoming a world class interviewer. I'm more interested in bodybuilding but I listen to almost all of these because the conversations are just so engaging and educational.

Hes the definition of not knowing how he became the best in history. Started training before any of us knew what muscles were. Has no technique just does what feels naturally to him. Needs no psyching up or yelling or screaming or ammonia, just gets in position and lifts. Has no esoteric explanations of anything just does whatever naturally feels good to him. He's so far above the rest he's on his own level.

John is that dude we all wish we were.... Incredible genetics, impeccable work ethic, good diet, correct supplementation and was in the right setting to achieve.... Idk what's more impressive. His 903lb conventional deadlift @ 90kg or his 600lb raw bench in a full power meet under 100kg.... Or his 2270lb total at 205lb-210lb bodyweight... Wow

Yes!!!! I’m a huge Haack fan along with highly appreciating/admiring the wisdom Dave continues to share with the community. Let it sink in how much respect Dave has for what John is accomplishing given the history Dave has in the sport. John’s approach and perspective rivals the sheer insanity of his capability/work ethic, all of which are beyond world class. Both of you gentlemen are fascinating individuals that I do my best to absorb whatever knowledge you are kind enough to share. Thank you both for embodying what I love about strength development, which has been central to my health for the last 20 years and God willing, many to come. Early Merry Christmas to you both!

People don't get how much 300mg test + 50mg real pharma var actually does. I mean that's still a 650mg cycle and anavar is really really effective at making you strong as heck without packing on too much size. He also never even MENTIONED his anadrol dosage. It's still very 'low' doses compared to what people often take but it's still very close to the point of diminishing returns. Any compounds added on top will inevitably increase size too much and will land him in yet another weightclass, or be completely unsustainable (tren) which I'm sure he's saving for when he notices no more progress with the options he's going for now. However I will emplore him to switch the masteron for primobolan instead.

Questions are good, but you have to many. The person asking the questions always has the control. John as the host, you should let John control a large percentage of the post cast. Shoot for letting him control 40%, maybe near 60% This is why the guest on Joe Rogans pod cast doso well. They own some of it.
