It looks like it has been maintained better than when I was there in 1993. It was very run down. In 1980 the dining room chairs were scratched from the cats he used to have. There would be organ concerts in the hall. It's pronounced Gloster, ignore the u. Glosta if you're native MA! Nice to see your tour, thank you. It was pleasant to see your filming and narrative.

Thank you for the kind words. It was a very interesting place to say the least. I thought it was awesome to learn that Disney Fantasia was viewed there in the great hall. Though I can't actually find anything to back that. We spend about half the year in Maine so we're starting to get the lingo. Roger=Rahja Wanda=Wander ending A sounds are R and ending R sounds are A. It's actually very similar to our English neighbor in Spain. I call it new English! Thanks for watching, hope you're keepin' wahm.

I haven't been here in a few years, but I'm planning on bringing my girlfriend there soon. She's from the South and hasn't been here before.

@ 8 : 35 that statue is John Hammond. He is not nude, he has a well placed fig leaf. Modesty is a virtue, after all.

@@TravelingBuildingGrowing I understand just thought I'd offer. I'm always hungry for sausages so I just assumed you may be hungry for tuna tacos all the time.

Ah geez you butchered the name. It’s pronounced Gloster...gloss-tur
@TravelingBuildingGrowing3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, got corrected on that one already. We spend half the year working in Maine and there's New Gloucester there. That's the beauty of traveling and seeing new places. Learn something new everyday. If you think I butchered that, we've been traveling in Turkey the last couple months. I guarantee I've pronounced things way worse here haha. Thanks for watching my video.
