After working hard for the last 5 months, I am ready to show my new game room. This expansion to my living room is to be used to play my games, and to display a focused part of my collection(Classic Game Era 1972-1985). I am extremely thankful for everyone's support!

You are my inspiration. I'm 34 and I've had my collection stolen when I joined the army, and like you used to take advantage of the clearance bins back in the day. I have had to rebuy much of my collection, and recently got back above 3000 games. It took persistence and patience. I definitely strive to have a collection like yours one day, no matter how difficult it is. Super happy that you have found your passion, and it's apparent in your videos.

When Atari 2600 came out, I had an uncle that had a full size chest freezer in his house, it didn't work but he had it packed with in box complete 2600 games, you couldn't fit another game in there. Always liked checking them out.

I see Stunt Cycle up there. That was one of the first "plug and play" type consoles I had as a kid. It quit working one day and that led us to getting an Atari 2600.

Amazing collection! Also, Dan of RetroProtection is awesome! I asked him if it'd be possible to produce bags for Vita cartridges like the ones he sells for Snes and Gameboy cartridges and was told that It would be very difficult to do, but he did help me find something very similar online. I'm currently using Vita box protectors from him, which are amazing, and hope to do business with him again, soon!

something like this really shows the variety of game collectors out there, personally i'm not a fan of the pre-nes stuff, if i had a small expansion like this it would be completely focused on 90's gaming, snes/n64/ps1. Born in 84 i kinda missed the atari generation of gaming and was a little young to completely appreciate the nes, even though i still enjoy it. awesome video as always, congrats on the new room and you and the family have a happy thanksgiving

Amazing set up Jr. John. i'm not gonna lie - when I saw the room being built I just couldn't imagine it being enough room. The way you have it set up tho it actually looks very spaceous yet cozy at the same time. I'm honestly jealous of you right now - wish I had a dedicated room! I guess it gives me something to work towards to. I've been keeping up with the progress from when it was just being built in your first video on it. If you don't mind me asking ( I think you even said before but I forget -sorry) how much around did it cost to build this size room as a add on to your home? I'd love to do something like this for all my retro games I currently live in a brick home if that changes the factors of how much it could cost?
