Masterful and groovy. This is cool because a lot of bassists either start rage-slapping for a solo or try too hard to imitate a guitar solo.

🔥 🔥 🔥 Would never have guessed those were labella. They sound so bright here that could be mistaken for steel flats something like dunlop

Stainless flats can be pretty snappy. Just tried some Thomastik-Infeld jazz flats and the nickel is just a much warmer thing. I prefer the labella’s for this type of thing.

It’s a ‘71 neck on a Fender AVRI 62’ reissue body. Kind of a strange combo, but it’s so comfortable to play.

It’s passive. Just plain old P bass electronics. I think I had the tone knob all the way up.
