Love listening to your stories! Earlier this year, before all Hell broke loose, was the first time I've ever seen those mountains. I could just sit there all day and just look at them and watch the clouds float over. Beautiful! I just love visiting Arizona and the more I visit, the less I want to leave!

I’m from south east Scotland, been an adventurer all my life. Treasure hunting! Metal detecting, exploring old smugglers caves, mines etc. We have mountains here which are amazing, but the Superstition Mountains are the best ever! And these guys are doing a wonderful thing telling all these stories for posterity. 👍

My grandpa and my father were both lifetime 33rd degree Masons in one of the first Lodges in Ohio, more specifically the one that followed the Scottish rites. They traced their lineage to the stone masons who built the world's largest buildings and monuments. They banded together to protect the secrets of their trades. They were never into anything nefarious. They were a fraternal lodge where you could meet with friends and then go have a few beers before you went home to bed. Love listening to you tell stories. You've got a way with words. That's a gift.

A great and interesting story pulling in so much history not only of the Superstition Mountains but American history as well. Such a dynamic time it was and actually not so long ago. RIP 🪦 Mr. Hank Sheffer..Master Storyteller, Historian and Friend

@@norneva775 I was born way to late. As a kid I used to camp out with my horse, I even built a cabin with stall my horse. Track animals and fish. I'm 60 now, what I'd give to do that again.

The underlying reason is that Jack Frasier had heard about Jacob Waltz and his gold mine. Some say he even had acquaintance with Jacob Waltz before Jacob passed away. There is definitely more to this story then we are being told here. Great story telling though. Love this channel! Love hearing about the Mysteries of the Superstition Mountains and look forward to hearing more.

That was interesting. I like the stories about the pioneers and their experiences. Reminds me of some of the stories my mom told me about when she grew up on a homestead in Oregon. And also my grandmother.

Excellent! ..as usual. Do we know the motive of the guys that ambushed the man, who's body was found by the dog, at the ranch in the 70's? You should put some of these stories to audio and call it Campfire Stories of the Superstitions by Hank. :)

We should meetup I'd love to talk with you guys, I am in Apache Junction and came here from Alaska. I frequent Starbucks in the mornings. I'd love to buy you guys a coffee? I went to the last miners Rendezvous and met Wayne Tuttle and read all 5 of Ron Feldman's books and just finished his son's. I found a heart shaped boulder with 1847 on it, I will share that photo with you. I sit near the door. Hope to see you.
