John James 2024 RNC full speech: Michigan Republican praises parents, criticizes Biden

U.S. Rep. John James' speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee went for about six minutes on the first day of the event.
James, a Black businessman, former Army helicopter pilot and first-term congressman, talked about how his father grew up in the segregated South and went on to found a trucking company shipping beer between Detroit and Milwaukee.
While his parents encountered racism, he said, "it did not define the nation they love."
"America is the greatest idea that’s ever been," James continued. "It's worth fighting for, it’s worth sacrificing for and its worth getting out and voting for."
James went on to sharply criticize President Joe Biden's administration, claiming its actions had caused sharp increases in inflation, allowed undocumented immigrants to pour across the southern border and set the stage for the war between Russian and Ukraine.

One of my first mentors outside my own race, at age 14, was a 6'6" black man (around 35 or so...), who taught me how to wash dishes, prep salads, and "slang dish"...he was one of the kindest men, to this day, I've ever met, father of 3 children....worked his ass off. I'll NEVER let anyone talk shite about my black brothers or sisters under God. AMERICA FIRST.

I personally know him, his father, his little brother, and his mother. His father's job is located on W. Fort St. and Clark in Detroit,( Renaissance Global Logistics)he didn't start that job, his father did October 18th 1998, but his father was a millionaire by the time he was born, so this man never seen a broke bad day in his life, he's only in the position he's in because of his father, his father was democrat married to a black lady, he's republican married to a white lady, case close 😮

The most successful people in my life are all people of color...and they all say the exact same thing as John James. And they all actually faced racism, bigotry and other obstacles on their road to success 30, 40 years ago. Those obstacles are long, LONG, LONG gone. Your perception is your reality.
