There are so many legendary modern players that had that elusive hip swerving running style of Kiriwin, but watching him feels like seeing the original model. Ben Smith, Henry Honnibal, Will Jordan and many others I'm forgetting have thay running style but it feels different when he's doing it.

I was one of his “friends” he talks about at Lancaster Park @4.50. Yeah we hated him because we knew he was special. Not sure if Naas got the same when he was playing against WP at Newlands. Thanks again Real Rugby!

I played Auckland club rugby against Kirwan and his Marist Club, he had speed, powerful runner and a mean as step. I did tackle him a couple of times. I was happy with that. 😅

Crickey. The AB's in 87 were simply devastating. Ten years ahead of everyone else. The fluidity and speed is a sight to behold watching now. Dangerous man.

Ok, I will concede. You didn't stipulate in ALL matches. Wasn't picking a fight. Thanks for the comment! Great player either way

Kirwan is too Good! Greetings from America go UofMichigan Wolverine Rugby! Not that we would have a prayer in a real match - Andrew Kirwan Wolverine class of '10 "back back" whatever u call that position.
