That’s what the chiefs do and it works for them… you can’t pay everybody big money and it’s only right to let them go and get paid if that’s what they want. It’s why teams take cheaper deals in kc… to win and then they can go and get paid after they win a ring

@@TestHaha55 purdy is never going to be Mahomes but I think if shanahan let him have control of calling protections and allowed him to scramble more he’d atleast give the team a fighting chance. I’m a chiefs fan first but my nfc team I picked has been the niners because I like a lot of the players especially Kittle and cmc. Brock has shown he is good at reading defenses, Spags even noticed that and had to start creating new defensive plays in the Super Bowl! Niners have so many draft picks so they should pick some and develop them like the chiefs did instead of paying big bucks to buy players from other teams. It’s frustrating to see so much potential being wasted. Get kittle a tight end like him he can mentor. Get an actual o line. Big bucks come AFTER you actually win. If you wanna win you’ll take the cheaper deal because niners are a team that have the coaching to win. I mean obviously I’m glad the chiefs won but I’ve watched players I love leave the team over the years because they cared more about money than winning and we just won without them. I understand for the older guys why the money is so important now at the end of their careers, I do but the teams that win are the teams that make sacrifices

@@Wutang4children def line is where the major gaps are, because we just lost 7-8 players & we had just 3 players who can actually start without Arik... !! Our offensive line were ok to go all the way to SB... They atleast have the same line now, & ofcourse they will draft RT/RG since this draft has better o-linemen than def linemen !!! So better to wait & see how all this pans out by the season starts... They have also put up a competitive team year in & out apart from QB [until BP] inconsistencies
