I Love watching your services on my phone in my van where I live due to a invironmental illness but if I lived in Los Angeles I didn't have this horrible illness which in my opinion is far worse than any flu, i would be so blessed to sit there among all the hundreds and thousands of believers and listen to your message and be able to shake your hand. 💖🙏👍 Please pray for me. My name is kim. I'm 57 and because of this illness I haven't seen my kids and grandchildren in over 3 years now because they all chose fragrance over me and that hurts so so bad. There is no cure but avoidance. Please also pray that God will find me a safe house to rent so I can get out of my van that now has mold growing. The enemy has been putting suicide in my head daily because I don't know how much longer I can live this way. I won't take my life but I do want to go Home and be made whole and not be lonely anymore even though I have Jesus and the Holy Spirit with me daily but I'm scared. I'm trying to be strong through Christ living in my heart. Thank you ♥️ kim

No one in my Church has gotten sick. The ones that are at a higher risk - seat with spacing and some were mask in voluntary bases. So far - no one has caught anything but love and hope.

I may not agree with a few of his views regarding certain doctrines but for the most part, Iʼm actually grateful to see a pastor of Dr. MacArthurʼs capacity and reputation stand up against the government for its seemingly Draconian measures of restraint even to religious institutions. We need more men like him for such a time as this whose fidelity to the Word and unwavering faith in God will fight for the churchʼs necessity in our weekly functions as a society. Only a few are brave enough to push back against overreaching authority and Pastor John is leading the way for other ministers to take the courageous step forward for the congregation. Pastor MacArthur's stance is catching on. Our Church has been reopened since Mother's Day.. Mask and social distancing is optional. Some wear them, some don't.. I am tte Music Director so I rarely ever do. Our Pastor is 80 same as MacArthur and wears a mask while he preaches. Although he has stated he is not afraid of the virus and that God has got this, he preaches with it on because he doesn't want to to sneeze or cough on anyone in the front rows and he and his wife health issues. She is a Cancer survivor and has low immunity. He is a Diabetic. He is such a sound solid Preacher, but it bothers us that he wears the mask while preaching. I am not even sure if I have seen it anywhere else and I think it sends a confusing message. He is an interim but we want him to stay. We wonder if it's because he is an Interim that he does it. He speaks about MacArthur's stand and what's happening in CA and other States. We are blessed to be open. I think at this point the mask and distancing is an excuse for some folks but then again I respect people doing what they want and not what others expect them to do . Don't tell me what I have to do and you do what is best for you. It's that simple! Amen or oh me😱😱

@RPG 808 Thank for your kind words sir! At 53 I think he is trying to set a precedent. He has done this since May. Does your Pastor mask up while he preaches? As the music director and having a Praise Team behind me we rehearse every Sunday morning with no one else there with no mask. When people start rolling in and we're done practicing we will put them on just in case somebody wants to come up and talk or we want to talk to somebody most of the time I have mine under my nose because I just don't do well with them at all. We do have a lot of elderly in our church we have very few 25-50ish year old people. But I love our Church. It's solid and as I said before he preaches the gospel soundly just like John MacArthur does. He also wrote a letter to all of us months ago about how a revolution starts and all it takes is a small crack for a for revolution to sneak through and do exactly what the browncoats did in Germany. He was in the service and he was in the Secret Service and he can tell you all about socialism and Marxism as well. So needless to say we really really like him and we don't look forward to the day we have to start looking for a pastor and forming a pastor search committee. But we have been all so blessed so far at our church with no cases at all. We are running nowhere near the number of John MacArthur's church at all we are running way way way less than that but still we try to do our best to be cautious some and not just throw caution to the wind but we believe it's time to move forward so thank you for your prayers about our pastor and God bless you and your church as well brother!

@RPG 808 Same to you brother!! We know God has someone in store for us. We have never had anyone like this guy in regards to training and moving us forward. We are an old SBC .. We also know the SB convention is hurting and becoming more and more woke as the days go by.. like JD Grieer Beth Moore and others. But we are still part of it. I question that now too and so does our Pastor.. I am just glad we have someone it's not afraid to preach "Thus saith the Lord" and is not afraid to speak the truth about all of the insurmountable rejection of sin in our country and in our world. it's good to see somebody talk about it, see it and say it for a change. God bless you and your family and your church and your church family as well and we all need to stand up for our rights given to us by God and our rights given to us by our constitution. Blessings

if he had Pastor John on much longer, they would have garnered much more viewers. People are drawn to leaders who spoke and live the truth. Seriously he is a beacon of Christianity to this generation. Im so blessed to be able to hear him preach the truth, coz had I been born later, I would have to contend with these washed down pastors who just bury the truth in a bunch of gimmicks. As far as the bible goes, it says that Pastors are the responsibility of God himself. So we have all these people putting down Pastors like they're doing something wrong. And digging at them that they're spineless. If thats what your beliefs are well then its still a free country. But, if these people are allying themselves with satan to make all Pastors look bad. Can someone please help me understand. I watched two sermons of John's back to back. One was on submitting to the authorities, the other was in reference to not submitting to these evil edicts from the authorities, then telling a poor woman from Romania to not get involved or protest against her government, then he does it a few years later... I know where he is coming from in his heart but is this straying from what he preaches? I love John so much and believe he is a true man of God, he is not perfect though and this is one subject area I have been trying to understand for well over a decade as I saw this approaching.

Jesus said you must render to Cesar what is Cesar's, that is to subject yourself to the authority, and it is also said that when the government overstepped and prohibit the believer to worship God, the believer has to choose who is to serve, Cesar or Christ. Likewise you also must obey your parents and respect their authority but when your parents say that you should not follow Christ, then you must decide who is to obey. I would suggest for you to read the story of Daniel as an example.

I've fought/silently protested the government for years in my ways. I just want to be absolute on what is expected of us. I pray for the believers in countries like China who's persecution is far greater than what we in the West are experiencing right now.

We should take the same path that the apostle peter did when the church authorities told him not to preach Jesus in acts 5:28-29 saying, “We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.” But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men." In the same instance we are to obey God rather than men when it comes to God's law and commandments. In Hebrews 10:25 it says And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. For a government to tell us to limit the amount of us that can meet together limits us from keeping that commandment and obeying God. I know that in John MacArthur's situation it was literally impossible for his whole church to meet outdoors they didn't have enough room. So there are certain situations in which everyone could meet but also in California pastor John MacArthur did not want people to be outside in 100° weather for several hours listening to someone preach it would be not good for someone's health. but we also as a people of the United States have a legal rights that can't be taken away that is constitutional that we are allowed to assemble peacefully and we also have the right to freedom of religion, the government has no right to tell us not to worship because of the laws that have already been set in place.
