How can I know what the print size of a Bible will be BEFORE I buy it? I have a few pastor friends that use the ESV Bible. However, it bothers me that I can find errors in a translation that even I- a person who does not know Greek- can see and wish were rendered better/correctly. Such as: Matt. 3:1, Matt. 5:14, Matt. 7:7, Matt. 20:20!!!!!!!!!!, Mark 5:13, Mark 7:19, Mark 7:28, Luke 2:1, 10-12, 17, & 19; Luke 3:33, Luke 16:13, Luke 16:23, John 3:7, John 11:35, John 21:15-17, Acts 11:1, Acts 14:13, Acts 16:38, Acts 22:2, Rom. 10:4, 1 Cor. 7:1, 1 Cor. 16:1, 2 Cor. 13:5, Gal. 2:21, Gal. 3:1, Eph. 5:22, Col. 3:5, 2 Thess. 2:8, Heb. 11:31, James 1:1, 2 Peter 2:4, 1 John 2:2, 1 John 3:2, 2 John 6, Rev. 6:8, and others. Could someone help me find a N.T. Greek scholar who could tell me how my mind works in seeking New Testament richness from the text?

i was delighted to find that Bible on sale for $225 I think it was, two years ago from a Lutheran outldet, as a gift for my church. It has the layout that it does be ause it matches the Crossway Pew Bible, including the responsive readings.

I have the kjv sword study bible, like the maps and other things but the kjver study bible needs larger gutters, darker print on the tiny plural ye, thee, etc. To much study stuff that is not sound doctrine. They need to leave out the pet doctrines.

Any time you are going to buy a Study Bible I think it's best to concentrate on these 2 questions. 1. What translation do you prefer. 2. Who is the General Editor. In my opinion the 2 best translation's of the Holy Scriptures are the ESV and the NASB. The MacArthur Study Bible comes in both Translation's. 2. The General Editor is of course John MacArthur. Now his notes not only are the most through of any Study Bible but also the most accurate. Buy either Translation and compare them to any Study Bible you already have or any from your family or friends and believe me you will quickly see the MacArthur Study Bible is way ahead of all the others.

As the 1611 KJV had the apocrypha/deuterocanonical books, it is incumbent for Whitakerhouse to likewise do an ER format for these books and include in the the Bible it publishes.

Mr. MacArthur ...... so you tell President Biden to be careful for putting his hand on the bible but Trump was autographing bibles and you said nothing about that... umm... why not? Is the bible to be honored by one and not all ? It seems you are showing partiality to one over another? I could be wrong but isn't partiality a sin too ? What rules you give to one should apply to all or it is probably not God but men. Thats sounds unfair and partial. I don't understand why correction is for just one and not both. Didnt the word say Do nothing by partiality? In another scripture it says all partiality is sin. It seems like people change the word to condemn one and absolve another.
