There's just something about this song. It is so great that I think even John himself can't top it.

Mayer said it in an interview, "There are songs that I write, that are to my abilities, and sometimes I write a song that's beyond my ability, 3X5 is one such song"

I have no one or no place to relate this song with, but this song, this melody, somehow just sounds nostalgic to me. Love it!

I always listen to this song as a letter and reminder to my future self to live in the moment! It's a beautifully written song from ( i think) his first project Room for Squares

The folks with bad things to say about JM simply aren't listening. It's the only way I can even make it make sense in my head. An absolute master.

My favourite John song changes .....it's 3x5 currently. I'm not quite sure why. Melody maybe. Thing is all his songs have been my favourite at some point. Can do no wrong, never disappoints. A class act...just the best.
