The way John comes in on ‘burning room’ is subtle but is delivered perfectly

The vocal harmonies, damn! I would pay to see both of them do an acoustic duo tour!

Never heard of this John Mare guy, but he sounds pretty good. It's nice someone as musically talented as Ed Sheeran lets these up and coming artists play with him. I'm sure John will make it big someday.

i love how ed uses his falsetto to mimick the guitar solo that just shows his musicality x

And this shows how great John’s solos are, you can singalong to pretty much all of them
@hienlethai397910 ай бұрын
That shows nothing. If it actually shows anything, for sure it's not Ed's musicality, which we all know is way beyond just mimicking a simple 7-note "solo". Anyone who's not tone-deaf can sing it along note for note. Even I can do it (doesn't sound as good obviously, but I can do fine 1 octave lower). And saying you can sing along to most of John's solo is just absurd. I bet what you do is just sing the "main" notes that form the rhythm and skip all the other notes in between.

Lyrics- It's not a silly little moment It's not the storm before the calm This is the deep and dying breath of This love that we've been working on Can't seem to hold you like I want to So I can feel you in my arms Nobody's gonna come and save you We pulled too many false alarms We're going down And you can see it too We're going down And you know that we're doomed My dear We're slow dancing in a burning room I was the one you always dreamed of You were the one I tried to draw How dare you say it's nothing to me? Baby, you're the only light I ever saw I'll make the most of all the sadness You'll be a bitch because you can You try to hit me just to hurt me So you leave me feeling dirty 'Cause you can't understand We're going down And you can see it too We're going down And you know that we're doomed My dear We're slow dancing in a burning room Go cry about it, why don't you? Go cry about it, why don't you? Go cry about it, why don't you? My dear, we're slow dancing in a burning room Burning room Burning room Don't you think we oughta know by now? Don't you think we should have learned somehow? Dont you think we oughta know by now? Dont you think we should have learned somehow? Don't you think we oughta know by now?
