You got to admit that JM has improved both in skills and taste. He managed to mature from teeny bop idol. Usually that doesn't end well but he pulled it off.

"Call Me The Breeze" um tema recorrente de há décadas para cá, interpretado por nomes sonantes do rock: -JJ cale, Peter Frampton, Lynyrd skynyrd e tantos outros. E a saga continua com o interessante John Mayer que se sai lindamente com a sua versão magnifica desta composição cuja origem se perde no tempo!

I feel like you’re studying the blues when you wrote this song as far as the story telling goes not bad. Projecting. An experiment. The guitar playing is amazing and vocal tambre god like. The band amazing. You are magnificent and a song is a whimsical after all. I love you for it anyway. Best wishes.

JJ Cale wrote this one, Cocaine and a few others. His version is a tad more laid back, however his "Cocaine" is better than Clapton's rendition.

@@bluesyace9564 nah, comparing anyone to Clapton is immediately a compliment, when people call Clapton god they’re actually complimenting god, seriously though, Mayer is amazing and it’s a great compliment to be compared to Clapton, I understand that it could be taken as disrespectful as John is his own thing but it’s really just a compliment to John

I think people like the songs with simpler chords (or whatever they're called. [I don't play the guitar]) so the instrument doesn't overpower the catchy tune--lile Marty did when he overwhelmed the unsuspecting teenagers in 1955. That's why travelling as a musician with the Dead must be so much fun. All the band's music is rather catchy and you can jam out indefinitely.
