Great video! A pedal I love in the light-medium gain category is the Benson Preamp. You get a beautiful dynamic overdrive and because it doesn’t use clipping diodes it doesn’t feel compressed or stiff. Highly recommend it!

Thanks Gabriel, very helpful. I also play a Silver Sky through a Deluxe. Question for you: where do you have your tone setting on the guitar? I have found that with the amp bass and treble rolled off completely and the guitar on 1-2 (middle pickup) the highs are reasonable. Otherwise it gets way too bright. Thanks!

so zero eq on the amp?? Guitar tone is at ten in the video. But i do agree that with volume on the silver sky on 10 its a little harsh.
