The sand gold if the photos are accurate I think is a really nice and a more mature look. Also tbh 37mm does fit most men a lot of people I see wearing jumbo’s and 41mm due to the lug to lug they aren’t fitting a lot of men out there. Especially in the Asian market.

Nice video :) , but I need to diagree in something: I think these variarions that just came out must be read as the last proyect of JF. A new CEO needs months for them to understand the dynamics of a company and some other months to put into the metal their ideas. I feel these realeases still have the JF seal all over it: more and more Royal Oaks and further tests to make the Code 11 59 attractive

AP is such an innovative brand and the John Mayer colab is a very nice looking watch, but the 37mm has got to be the best size watch in their line, it's very wearable and the smaller Suze watch seems to be in demand now. The "Sand Gold" is a new color of gold and really looks great. The Camo version I'm just going to call the "Ted Nugent " I like what the new CEO is doing. Thanks Roman, great episode 😊

Ilaria Resta didn’t come up with anything in this lineup. Francois has a 5 year backlog worth or products that will come out over time. Resta’s influence will be felt many moons later

I don’t think the new CEO had anything to do with the new releases. She has only been CEO for a couple of months. I think AP would be better off if they focused on 37-39 mm models.

Don’t believe Roman realizes that the burgundy dial (which he dismisses as a repeat) is a Minute Repeater Grand Sonnerie. The dial color is from Francois’ favorite jumbo and combined with a super rare complication (even for AP). This watch will be a super hit.

The gold Royal Oak at 6:35 and the red dial Royal Oak at 9:06 are stunning pieces. Kudos to the new CEO, Ilaria Resta, for bringing her ideas to refresh the designs at AP. I found it refreshing that before taking the job, she went to an AP Boutique to experience buying an AP for herself. Maybe she can make it a little easier for first time buyers to the brand to buy a watch. Roman, I like this approach where you do the video solo and can speak freely. Maybe use this format a little bit more often.

I think the new John Mayer is the watch of the year without a doubt. It’s a shame is unattainable because all 200 are probably all spoken for and also the secondary pricing will probably be in the 600K realm very quickly. Also that new Sand Gold is awesome looking

Resta being a women or woke has nothing to do with the issues at AP, she’s been brought in to fix it. Online profiles don’t mean anything, it’s copy and paste from other CEOs and not appearing outdated.
