A little too cocky here, but he was immature at only 30 or so, so I guess it's somewhat forgivable! He's def more mature now, thank goodness. Still I think if the interviewer asks bullshit questions about him being a celebrity and his twitter feed, then you are going to get a bullshit interview. I've seen other interviews with him where he was more sincerely talking about just his music, and I find those tons more interesting. Going with that, the second half of this interview is better than the first, in my opinion.

Carlos Callejo funny how subjective music is as far as personal taste. I love all Mayer's records but I'd have to say Battle Studies and Paradise Valley are top three for me along with Born and Raised.
@CallejotheThird7 жыл бұрын
It's true, music is totally subjective. Born and Raised and Continuum are my favorite albums. By no means am i saying that Paradise Valley and Battle Studies are bad albums. I still listen to these albums but not as much as Continuum or Born and Raised.

Alright...nothing too negative about him...just far too much money , slight non alarming narcissism ..probably patronised Katy.....looks like he is hiding something...i sense some kind of defensiveness.....mmm, probably background noise of the soul who knows.....for now i am neutral on him. ...his character is neutral leaning towards good.
@ariannamattiacci38613 жыл бұрын
You shouldn't analyse him based on super old interviews and honestly we shouldn't analyse him at all, there's no use. He's learned and changed a lot over the years. He certainly had huge ego issues back then and he admitted that. No reason looking for good or evil, he's had that enough during his career. He's just a human being with great talent that got his success way too fast way too young but he's learned many lessons.
