Well, it simply HAS to be the saddest, or perhaps, most sentimental Song ever written. & most complicated Fingerpicking ever played. (& that Collings Guitar is simply Dreamy! ). @4:40 I use to get part of this riff confused with Ben Harpers 'Forever' He does that hammer on pluck simultaneously as well. Great sound. I've been doing A LOT of finger style in baritone low tunings and im just loving life at the moment. Glad I found this!

Currently learning Stop This Train as a relatively new player. Played in high school for a couple years but just picked up the guitar again 6 years later. Took me two days to learn just the picking pattern. Now gotta somehow get the chords going. Really difficult for me but I enjoy playing it over and over and seeing the progression even as slow as it is.

Fenrir start with "who says" its got pretty easy chord shapes and uses this technique

Fenrir I started of doing that with Heart of Life by John Mayer. It's got only two picking patterns the whole songs and only thumb slaps on one specific string so it's pretty good for starters. Once you get the technique down its pretty easy.

Been really meaning to get into John Mayer (after learning Neon) and some fingerstyle in general recently, and this video helped me do exactly both those things! Very well put together and excellent playing. Thank you, and keep up the good work. ^^
