Hey Shawn. I met you one evening at a Violet Burning gig in the UK in the late 80s (I guess). You played that Valley Arts guitar for that gig too. I think you were playing into a Mesa/Boogie Triaxis too? I assume you sold that guitar? Do you still wish you had it?

another thing Shawn! what are advantages and disadvantages of ` 22 fret vs 24? does the two octave mess with the scale length and feel?

I've only really owned 21 and 22 fret guitars. Never really felt like I would need anything beyond that. It's to each his own for sure.

I've never had any experience with that pickup. I've used the Dimarzio Virtual Vintage singles and thought they were great.
