One positive about Jalens performance in my eyes is the passes completed over the middle. I saw some pretty key throws over the middle to Aj and especially the big one to Devontae.

Hurts took 2 Hits to the head in that 2nd Quarter and looked a little woozy - On the Failed flea flicker his head bounced off the turf pretty hard and then close to end of the half when he was face planted into the Turf

John was right though that Jeff Stoutland and the o line deserves as much praise as saquon. People just like to credit the skill guy. But it was that o line that won the game. And the D line. The example that gainwell also ran very well but just the eye test tells us the o line won that game. Did you not see those blocks. Did saquon have any big runs without big holes created.

“Not a championship quarterback” Nonsense. Yes, Jalen misses some throws, but he has outplayed every quarterback the Eagles have played this year except Baker Mayfield. That includes the overhyped Jordan Love, Joe Burrow, and now Jaden Daniels last night. When he doesn’t turn the ball over he is what he was in 2022. A great deep ball passer and an elite rusher for a QB who holds onto the ball too long. That’s what he is and what he was in 2022. He can certainly still improve but who would you rather have around the league? He is playing better than Mahomes, Goff just threw 5 interceptions last week. I’ll give you Lamar and maybe Allen this year but even Allen has been inconsistent. Look around the league, I am happy with our QB1. If we were a championship team in 2022, we have that same potential this year, and Jalen will be a big part of it.

The lions are the best but their qb is throwing picks more than hurts ever has, thendamn giants beat them in week 1 fully healthy with hutch lol. The chiefs are struggling and mahomes is playing bad, but hurts isnplaying better than him. We should only be 1 loss behind them, and we are a brletter team. No top rister has a qb that is clearly playing better than hurts. Lamar doesnt havr a roster like ours, but he is the only one that is clearly playing better. But the results look the same in the standings lol. I wish he looked like he did on the sb run. But no qb looks as good as they did that year. There is no qb that i honestly frar more than hurts based on current form. I may be wrong but hes right in the mix. This siperbowl will not be a 70 point shootout. It could be a 35 point defensive battle where the plays that hurts and mahomes make every week will be what decides it. The chiefs and eagles are going through the exact same evolution process. Both teams qbs are playing subpar and the defense i ls what defines the team. Both teams are using the defense to keep the game close while they wait for the qb to make the 5 plays he needs to win it.the difference is that we have the same weapons and have the same maximum potential, their roster has more holes. We can get to the sb and maybe win while playing like this. But if hurts does catch fire again, we can blow teams out before we have to do the real fighting.
