I wish I could meet him. He’s honest, raw and has a big heart! One of my all time favorite people! His music is a big part of my life.

I am a photographer and I did their 1985 Tour Poster. He purchased the one time use right to two of my photos of them in concert for use on his Tour Poster. I didn't meet John but I did meet his best friend and lead guitarist Mike Wancheck. He was the nicest guy ever. I had met his dad and he invited me down to Nicholasville to meet his son Mike on Thanksgiving. Mikes dad told me that they worked 8 to 10 hrs a day getting ready for the tour. I lived in Lexington and i was shooting a lot of the concerts in Lexington Ky. at Rupp Arena. The next year my agent in New York bought the one time use rights to two of my Prince photos for resale to US News. The 1960s, 70s and 1980s were great times. I doubt there will ever be anything like those days again in history. Those of you who are too young to have lived in those days really missed it and you may never know what it was like in those days. I hope you do have some times like we did in those days but the world isn looking too good right now.

Love you John I was a teenager when American Fool was released and that album, dare I say, defined me in all the ways back then and in many respects to this very day embody who I am. But I don't think I'm alone . You've been a Mile Marker artist for millions of fans the world over. If anyone asks tell 'em Route 66.

Who cares what people think? The man is talented as hell, great singer, songwriter, musician and humanitarian. He made it to the top of the music business so doubters and haters can kiss his multi winning, chart topping, millionaire ass.

Always loved his music. With every interview i watch i realize he's a prime example of that very dominant, masculine man......just unapologetically himself! Admittedly the kind of man who can be most difficult to be with, but the type I'm most attracted to.

My Dad took me to my first concert at age 12 to see John and his Mr. Happy go lucky tour in Cincinnati. And while I’ve never been much of a fan of Mellencamp, my Dad sure loves him! Also, I went to school with John’s nephew who lives in Cincinnati and who also had the same name.
