More RIP-off really, if you remember MacArthur Park with Richard Harris composer Richard Webb, it's such a copy of so much of it. I'm surprised Webb didn't sue, but it's still nice nonetheless.

Yes, there are a lot of them, but most of the new, really talented musicians are usually non-mainstream musicians who cannot be found on traditional music channels on radio or TV. This is the problem. Currently, good music can be found mainly on Spotify, YT and other streaming services.

In 1976 I was in the RAF stationed at Brüggen in W Germany. RAF Brüggen was virtually next door to the Dutch border and only a couple of miles from Roermond. We could easily pick up 'Neddy' 1 and 'Neddy' 2 TV on the base, and I more than likely watched this broadcast of AVRO TopPop. Happy days.

I bought the 45 rpm vinyl disc as soon as I heard it on the radio in 1976; with "Remember Yesterday", these are his two most beautiful songs, but "Music" is his absolute and immortal masterpiece.

Maybe I was too young at the time this song was a hit in the Netherlands, I did not quite get it all, especially the crawling lady, but the baseline has travelled with me during my life as a reminder of youth. Now I just heard the song again on my radio, looked it up and finally learned some background. Amazing. Such great potential this guy. I promise I will play his music to my children so they can pass it on too.

even 46 years on this still sounds as fresh as the day it was released in the long hot summer of 1976
