Thank you so much for sharing your journey on JMT. I've started my planning for my own journey of the JMT myself for the summer of 2023 for my 50th birthday. Still, so much to get especially the main 3(tent,sleeping bag and tent). Hoping to document my journey as well.

The journey is well worth documenting. Though trying to capture as much as possible was a bit overwhelming at times, the best part about being away from the trail is the ability to relive the experience over and over again. Good luck to your trip in a few years, i couldnt think of a better way to celebrate 50 years

Great Video!! Thank you for sharing. Did the Rae Lake Loop this summer and can't wait to return to the Sierras. Would like to do the JMT some day soon. I am not getting any younger.

You guys did the same hike I'm doing this year but I saw another KZbin video that said that if you come from Cottonwood lakes you can't climb MT Whitney, is this true? I love your videos
@Roadtosomethingnew13 жыл бұрын
If you have a permit from Cottonwood Lakes you CAN climb Mt. Whitney. Where are you starting from and where are you exiting?

Best of luck to you on your adventure. Videos are great but seeing it all in person will be something you will never forget. Thank you for your support

What camera/video equipment did you bring (I see osmo action/pocket) ? How many batteries etc. Did you have a solar charger or something else?
@Roadtosomethingnew13 жыл бұрын
I brought along my Osmo Pocket, and an Osmo Action to film the hike. The pocket only has an internal battery so to keep that charged i brought a solar charger and two battery banks. My Osmo Action i brought along a total of 3 batteries and didnt use it as often as the pocket so with the three batteries i had enough juice to not need to recharge any of the batteries.
