He reminds me of my late brother...for skill levels...I can relate to him entirely...There are so many fakes in architecture, and nobody seems to go to jail...glad your skill shone through anyway.

I love these videos. I have tried painting a few of the different style just to see how I feel about them. Love it. Thank you!

I actually thought of faking a Kandinsky, being inspired by John. I am wondering if John does his own art. He surely has a profound understanding, and I suppose, love for art.

He is. He was a songwriter and often came into the office in Barlow Place. So sorry that he went through a bad time as he is such a kind and nice person, but glad he's come out the other side and is very successful.

Crazy that he used acrylics which weren't even around 150 years ago and the 'experts' didn't even spot it!? Yeah right, they just smelled profit, they're shadier than the forgers

Hi Darren, although any scientist analysing these paintings would spot that they’re made with modern materials, the point of a good fake is that it’s so convincing that no one will think to analyse it! If you would like to read more about John's incredible story, just click here: bit.ly/3CnnB4t Thanks, Harriette

I have a huge collection of books on art forgery, fakes, thefts etc and one thing that always annoys me is when someone sees or buys a painting that is by some famous artist they are so happy and admirative then when they find out it wasn't painted by him but by a 'forger' they suddenly only see it's faults and disavow it. Art is art and a good painting is still a good painting no matter who painted it and what label is on it. There is no such thing as 'fake art'. I will add that something like HALF the artworks being sold or exposed in recent years are 'fake'.
