Guys relax, John is clearly able to talk and smile, he doesn't do that often simply because he's just very uncomfortable with interviews and interacting with other people in general, he just needs his personal spaces as you can clearly see in the behind the scenes videos that the band made. I'm not a psychologist but I suggest that people stop interviewing him if that makes him so uncomfortable, I don't want him to feel pressured into doing something if it's that bad for him, even if it's as harmless as answering questions, because we don't know what's happening with himself in that situation. Btw this interview was very wholesome, keep going John!

I felt the need to specify this because I've heard people calling him racist slurs and assuming that asians are all the same, obviously I was NOT assuming that you're one of them, I just wanted to clarify this because I can't believe that racism is still a huge problem in today's society, both for the elders and the younglings.
