Just when I had started liking Bush for his comments on Trump administration, I am reminded How much worse Bush was compared to Trump right now.

One thing I found in his book that didnt make since is the part about Suddam involvement in Sadar assassination in the late nineties, he said suddam said he has nothing to do with it bur shortly after he saulid Saddam gave details about his intelligence men did the assassination. Wish he clear that part.

I gree with Mr.Nixon but till he tells untrue story about Uday and Qusay and Qusay son Mustafa the 14 years old kid. Three of them fought till the Marines bombed the house to the ground

With all due respect to Mr. Nixon, reading books about a specific country, especially a country like Iraq, does not make a political analyst about this country. You must live daily life with them, their customs, clans, sects, vocabulary and many details.,,,That is why they fall into a miscalculation

Giovanni Cano a lot of ppl claimed they were arrested by the police before 2003 and got compensation for being arrested for “political reasons” which is not true. However many of them were either thieves or have civic crimes. And in general anywhere in this world if someone carries a gun against the police or the government what would be the outcome?

One thing I want to comment on is what he said at the end about Saddams Sons plays PS. No one sits playing TV games in the middle of the war with foriegn military looking to kill you. Saddams Sons and the grand son which was a teen ager fought like Lions against the amount of pussies that were firing misiles and bombs at the house. 3 Vs hundreds. Thats not what they show us in their movies hehehehe. Also their cousin is the one who sniched on them it wasnt a sheik of anything.

I left a comment on the main comments thread, I stated that there were discrepancies in this particular part, what he said is based on a testimony of a U.S soldier based on what someone else told him based on what someone else told them etc... but the question is, how do they know? That’s one thing.. 2- the guy who walked up to the U.S checkpoint (which was actually across the road lol) he wasn’t a distant relative, he was a distant friend, he used to get Uday into some parties in Mosul whenever he used to go there! A couple of Saddam’s lawyers said this and their statements corroborated (Khalil el Delaimi and Suleiman el Juboori!)... 3- he did not walk up to the 4th infantry division, he walked up to the 101st airborne division. So my point is, seems like he’s selling a book, but I watched his interview on Arabic TV actually (Al-Araby channel) which was extended into more than 5 parts I think, and it seemed like he was extremely touched by Saddam’s story and he felt like he had to send a message to the world about the details and I think parting with Saddam was very emotional for John, and expose some of the lies that we were constantly bombarded with on the MSM.. Sorry for the long response but been listening to hours of interviews and reading books etc on this issue, another guy to follow is Stephen Pelletiere (ex CIA Analyst and Professor at the University of Bonaventure in NY) amazing work!

hey i missed my meetings and was jus hooked to this video, i kw i can watch it later, but as i started i din want to stop....such a gr8 country america, champions of human rights and justice, fairplay and all that, should stop venturing to east and middle east, people in the east and middle east are 5000 yrs of civilization and may not want to change to american ways of life or idea of america. Do not invade Easten side or middle eastern side..its very tricky and risky......you live with your narrative lett hem live with theirs....bushes and blairs shd be tried as war criminals....peace.

Great interview, however, there are some discrepancies in what he said... like it seems to be mainly things he said in the book, because I watched most interviews with him and they just sound like marketing for his book... I especially loved the part about the Iran-Contra!! because that’s factual information that the U.S always dodges! Also the truth about Halabja... but it just goes to show that he hasn’t done his research prior to interviewing him.. if he only found out about the Iran U.S relations in 86 and the fact that the main culprit in Halabja was Iran and that it was a battle (not ordered by Saddam) He also told the story of Udai and Qusai’s death (around the 57:40 marker) he said that they stayed with this distant relative... loool he was NOT a relative at all... he was a self proclaimed sheikh in his tribe that Uday showered with money when he used to go to Mosul, as the guy used to arrange parties and girls and alcohol etc... so that’s how they became very close, I actually spoke to some of Saddam’s lawyers and they verified the story, but they confirmed that he was not a distant relative!!! P.S- @58:24 the sheikh walked up to the 101st airborne not the 4th infantry!
