I knew Bill growing up as he lived in a place called Jackfield and sang often with my Dads group Cuckoo Oak. I only learnt after Bills passing that he wrote this song. Its an incredible soft lullaby that tugs on your heart strings. Love that it has travelled the world and rightly so!
