I have great respect for John Oates' solo career, because instead of simply making Blue Eyed soul albums, he preferred to follow his own path which led him to get back to country..... but I must also admit that the 'album I would like from him is about this genre. just as I would very much like him to do a live with some of his beautiful songs from the Hall and Oates period, such as The Emptyness or The girl who used to be.
