As a pro brewer I always measured out my salts and then mixed them with water and then would add them to my foundation water before mashing in. Seemed to help with mixing.

I've always added my gypsum and CaCl into about 1/2 a pint of distilled water in a pint jar and shook it up off and on over the evening, the night before brew day. Is this a bad practice? Am I ruining some chemistry here? Lol
