To see Gilbert just play a couple of chords and listening to jpj playing a mandolin solo just tells you about what music is really about not like today’s rappers dissing one another. Rappers don't exactly put a lot of skill on display in the first place so riffing each other is all they have. They don't show vocal range, many of them have ghost writers, I mean it really makes sense. There isn't a lot for them to appreciate about each other. And I'm not riffing on rap here, this is just the truth of the matter.
