His comic material was perfect he didnt have to curse or anything too over the top. He had great delivery and timing. He made so many of us laugh hearty, good laughs. What an iconic American comedian. He was a significant part of what makes this world good and his passing has left a void. I pray that God continues to give us charismatic, unique individuals that walk the comic path to strive for the love, fame, acclaim, and revel in the laughs that we give in return. Rest in peace john. 🎉😂Thanks for the laughs😂🎉

For me, he was one of a handful of favorite comedians I cherished. Whenever I watch his videos now, I laugh hard and tear up afterward. He was such a good person aside from being a funny comedian. He tried to better his health, but just tried to get better too fast. He couldn't stay away from his fans and his work. To pass too young seems to be a theme for comedians. He outlived many, but I still wish the world had him around. Thankfully we have the internet and can enjoy his humor any time we wish. Rest well, John.

There are a lot more videos of this man on you tube,,, Do yourself a great favor and look up as many as you can, I still consider myself a newbie and I've known about him for only 10 years, and even I still find videos today that I've never seen before. But 99% of the time I can say every word along with him on these videos, and I still laugh.

There is a difference between being "loved" and being "beloved". He was certainly beloved. John was the sweetest, gentlest, and funniest of the main stream comedians. He never verbally attacked anyone, but he still managed to be over-the- top funny. He was very likeable, and respected for it. Personally, I miss him. A lot. But heaven is a much funnier place since his passing. I'd bet God and Jesus are in his audience for every show. First row, no doubt. With excellent food and drink. God bless this man. ❤️❤️❤️

I can vouch for John’s version of Indian food. The last time I ate vindaloo, I ate it with a vengeance and ate almost everything in the bowl. You try that, you better have a snowball, a bidet, or at least a pint of ice cream on hand. The flavor doesn’t matter. The relief does.

I thought I had a pretty high tolerance for spicy, considering I put hot sauce on a lot of stuff and always order Extra Hot when I get wings. Then one night I ordered Indian food and chose "medium" spicy because I had never tried this place. It was still REALLY spicy. It was good going down that evening, but not coming out next morning. My housemate and best friend is Indian. When I told him about it, he laughed pretty hard. And I said "it's a good thing I chose medium, cuz that was nothing like North American medium. Your spicy is DIFFERENT."
