I have loved every one of John’s song I’ve ever heard. I had just got home from Viet Nam when I got his first album. Only saw him once in about ‘78 I think. It was amazing! The world is a darker place without John Prine. RIP John…….I loved you my friend.

Wow. So young. I saw him do this song the only time I ever saw him in concert. It was 2003, when Bush invaded Iraq, his second invasion in two years, and after opening a kidnapping and torture center in Cuba. John Prine, too good.

Yeah, as soon as BLM hit the scene full strength and the news media turned blatantly to propaganda machines, people don't know what pronoun they want to choose for themselves, racism used for politics isn't going back into the bottle like it has in the past and now Biden, its been a rough rough time. Not to mention the pandemic (which the last Presidency was to blame for everything CoVid related and all rejoiced at him being there to take it. The virus has gotten worse, but now it's just a pandemic since he isn't there to blame atm.) I don't see us moving on anytime soon. The left and right both have done a number on this country I'm not sure it will recover from.

Imagine being 73 year old listening to a post Vietnam balad claiming that Trump was "the worst four years of our lives." I'm only 35 and Trump doesn't even come close. Watching 9/11 its fallout on live TV, watching all my friends parents lose their homes in '07/ '08, witnessing 20 years at war in the middle east, multiple friends dying because of "WMDs", but yeah... a fat guy with bad hair who said offensive things and accomplished nothing in office...now THAT'S the worst thing to happen in 7 decades...ok...cope more boomer.

John Prine generously gave us a half hour television performance for our syndicated TV show underground news. On the underground news, reboot channel I have presented all of the songs except Donald and Lydia, which I am saving for a future release. At some point I will release the entire half hour show as it was recorded and aired. I hope you’re enjoying these videos on our channel.

You can only get this performance from underground news reboot. The original performance was a half hour long so I have several more songs to release in the future. Stay tuned.
