I remember watching an episode of Eight Simple Rules and being scared. I said to myself: He doesn't look right. He's breathing heavy. He's ademic. Heart Issues are very prevalent in my family. I just knew there was something wrong. The next thing I heard, was that he had died. His Dad, Tex, died early of heart problems. Probably the same issue. A few years back one of his brothers was saved from the same issue that killed John, by correct diagnosis. He was surgically helped. Amy Yasbeck is not just a wonderful actor but also a truly good human being. She along with others at the foundation that they started have done stellar research into the issue of Aortic Dissection. John Ritter didn't have to die. If they had done the proper testing. He wouldn't have. If they had looked at the Medical History of his family. I believe that the heart issue, which is genetic in nature; often, went back several generations in John Ritter's family. These Drs certainly dropped the ball. There is a long history of Aortic Dissection being misdiagnosed as an ailment. Around the same time the playwright Johnathan Larson, who wrote the musical, Rent, also died from Aortic Dissection. He was also misdiagnosed.
